Woodland apartment

My experience at Black Barn Filby Spa was very enjoyable. The apartment was cosy and beautifully decorated, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. The swimming pool and hot tub were the highlight of my stay and provided the best part of the experience.
There were a few areas that could be improved, as some parts of the property appeared a little dusty. However, overall, I had a pleasant and relaxing stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Tranquility!

The location is amazing with nice views and very peaceful surroundings, the room is perfect with fantastic interior, the pool and hot tub 2 hours session flys by and is great fun the water and room is very warm as it’s heated, a great get away to relax and enjoy some time away from normal life, highly recommended!

Over priced for what we had actually booked for !

Booked this place for a spa weekend with my partner only to find when we arrived there was very little spa facilities available, which was very disappointing to say the least.we had a disaster of a booking as we booked for the weekend only to be told by owner to check out after our first nite as there was only a booking for one nite allowed for we felt very let down by this as when asking the owner for abit of guidance on what to do it was just a blunt contact the people you booked through and basically left 5 hours away from home with nowhere to stay n had to find new accommodation!

Beautiful place to stay

Beautiful place to stay, the pool and hot tub Are an amazing touch to what is an already wonderful stay.
100% recommend, we will defo be back!

Worth a visit to relax and unwind.

Black Barn was a lovely relaxing experience set in peaceful surroundings. It was lovely to have access to the facilities and have sole use of these (although a sauna was advertised it was not available). The lodge had everything that you need with a comfortable bed for a great night's sleep! The breakfast was delicious and worh the extra cost.
However, it was disappointing that the host challenged us using the facilities when it stated in the welcome book we could use them from 7pm. There was no introduction and this made me feel uncomfortable and that we were in the wrong. When booking we were not made aware that refurbishment was being undertaken and it was very noisy in the morning. The Lodge was fabulous but not very clean and did not reflect the cost of an overnight stay.
