Staff were extremely helpful especially when I arrived very late.

No evening meals during week-end . . . but after our evening meal on Monday, we decided to eat elsewhere for the rest of the week.
Could not have scrambled eggs for breakfast . . . only fried was available
Bacon was cooked quickly resulting in it being covered in white congealed fat . . .
We decided to have our breakfasts elsewhere in town.
The first room we stayed in the TV didn't work; only Netflix and iPlayer available . . . the room we moved into was TV only and iPlayer and Netflix not available.
The first room we stayed in - the balcony was covered in pigeon droppings and very dirty.
No free bottles of water in either of the rooms, although advertised there would be.
No de-caf tea bags available
No hand towels provided . . we had to ask for them.
There were other issues, but I think I've said enough.
On a good note - the bed was comfortable; we had somewhere to hang our clothes and the shower worked.

At breakfast on 9/8/26 told too much cooked food wastage day before, so breakfast would be prepared in the kitchen. People on the next table commented if it arrives very quickly, it is yesterday’s food reheated. It arrived in a couple of minutes, it looked very dried up & was luke warm. No cooking smells were coming from the kitchen. Queried if it was yesterday’s food reheated. Waitress said if wanted fresh, we would have to wait at least 20 mins. Said we didn’t want reheated food, wanted fresh so our plates were taken away.
Woke one morning to air con not working, Only socket in room working was kettle. Reception man Dan aka the manager came & fixed it by resetting the fuse board & resetting the aircon on the balcony. He failed to notice 2 pigeons that had got through the netting onto our balcony so went down again to ask him to remove them. He rolled his eyes so I removed them myself after several attempts.
Used the disabled toilet and there was no toilet paper, only blue hand towels. When the reception man Dan aka the manager was told, he said that the toilet would be cleaned later.

Very poor

Stayed before this time room not very clean still crumbs from previous visitors cigarettes but all over balcony.it was a fishing tournament on so they was catered for at 7am other guests told 8am. So when we got down there there was nothing left only 2, hard fried eggs no cereal, no butter or jam and no juice, couldn't find staff . Very poor for other paying customers.

Absolutely terrible - do not stay here

This place is terrible. I certainly would not recommend anyone to stay here. We only ended up staying as it was late, we’d had a long journey, and we couldn’t find anywhere else nearby. The whole room and bathroom was covered in grime and dust and the floor was filthy, I didn’t walk on the floor without shoes or shower for fear of catching something. The sheets and towels were just about clean but felt like they had been washed in the minimum amount of washing powder possible. Breakfast was very poor, the sausages were so cheap I don’t think they had ever seen a pig, the bacon was so hard you couldn’t cut it, the hot tray of tomatoes was just the sieved juice of tinned tomatoes, the hash browns were soggy and undercooked, and the eggs looked like they had been sitting there for a week. Don’t be fooled by the photos on Google as it shows a beautiful swimming pool, however THERE IS NO POOL. The best part of our overnight stay was the air-conditioning! Avoid at all costs!
