The staff were brilliant during our stay! The hotel is clean and the room itself was great. We got a room upgrade which was worth it from a standard to a club that I’m for a reasonable price too. We paid for breakfast which I’d recommend. A selection of hot meals which are cooked fresh, plus continental options are available.
The one issue I had was with the door which rattled every time someone else on the corridor opened or closed theirs. I had to prop something up on the back of the door to stop it rattling. Other than this, everything else was brilliant!

I wouldn't recommend this hotel for the cost. I have stayed a few times for work and every time the lifts and hallways smell of sewage, entering your room the smell goes but the rooms are dark and it feels like that is to hide how tired everything looks the plugs are all scratched and hanging from the walls, carpets seen better day and the bathroom shower and soap holder rusty. Worse of all both times I've stayed there are little black fly's in the rooms that seem to hover over the bathroom sink. I stay in hotels every week for work and have seen worse but for the price this is is why I give it a poor score and is not a premium hotel as the price suggests

Good:Clean, stylish room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Tasty breakfast.
Bad: Roof top bar staff seated us promptly but never returned to take our order, after 20 minutes we gave up and left as we had dinner reservations elsewhere. Shower drain was blocked so overflowed over bathroom floor. Room 410 was next door to service room which was constantly opening/closing/banging the door from 6am, making for a very early wake up.
Would be hesitant to return.

Super Sunday Lunch at Malmaison

We had a lovely Sunday lunch, made all the more memorable not only because of the quality of the food but also due to the attentive staff. Nella was especially attentive, offering advice about the courses and the wine.
Fir a Groupon deal, it was excellent value for money.
All in all, a very enjoyable way to spend a Sunday afternoon. We will be returning, for sure.

Very friendly greeting from the reception staff, our room was ready early which was a good result. Paid extra for an upgrade, the room was spacious, had everything we needed only unfortunate thing was the view was disappointing because of the building work opposite the hotel, but this was nothing to do with the booking, just bad luck!
We ate in the Bar and Grill restaurant which was really good, very friendly staff and a good menu.
We wanted to have a drink on the Sun Terrace but unfortunately it was closed, maybe next time!
The staff were very friendly and the hotel lived up to expectation, would certainly stay again.
