Great

WOWZERS what a place i must say, george is a top bloke food was class. One downside however there was this creepy sad looking guy in the restaurant (photo attached) apart from that was a delightful experience

Awful stay

Never in my life have I stayed in such a tatty,run down, outdated place!! My husband booked 4 nights for him and I so we could visit family, when we arrived a member of bar staff called out how much my husband was to pay (in front of customers in the restaurant)h e booked a double room and the room we were given consisted of 2 single beds at either side of the room, not appropriate for husband and wife?! we had to buy our own toilet paper , milk, teabags as this had ran out and there were no staff on site apart from kitchen staff?? Not one single person/staff member came near us our whole stay and at 9.50pm on the Friday evening we were told by a bar maid "no more drink" ?? Will not be recommending to anyone and will never stay again, shabby,dirty Very outdated, definitely not suitable for anyone with disabilities like myself as I had to go up and down a metal winding staircase?!? Bad damp showing, paper falling of ceiling, dirty marks on bedding?? And was kept awake at night by a bright green light on ceiling

Horrible

Terrible pub that’s overpriced and abysmal quality. Terrible atmosphere and people. Management sucks and it’s in the worst location ever. It’s dirty and somehow noisy even though there’s no one ever there.

Weekly visitors

This is my in-laws favourite pub. We visit at least once a week sometimes twice a week! They offer small and large plates so it’s ideal for them because they’ve got the option of a smaller plate. The staff are polite and friendly. Tracey is an asset to the team!

Our favourite place to visit, clean, friendly and welcoming , highly recommended!!

We've been here numerous times and for good reason. Always offer friendly, welcoming service and quality meals, very clean and great value. Would recommend this place to everyone. Can't wait to go back! A*****
