Nice place, on top of a pub, but the staff out is on the fourth floor and we had no issues with noise.

It was a great stay. During the heatwave air-conditioning helped a lot and proximity to Paddington made everything easy. Staff is friendly and allowed me a late check-out. Would recommend to highly.

The positive is that the room was nice. Clean, decently-appointed, what I would expect for the price. The negative is almost everything else. The place was clearly more concerned with their World Cup party in the pub, which doubled as their lobby, than ensuring guests had a nice experience during their stay. Later in the night I had to muscle my way through the pub just to get to the elevator to my room. They had an alternate entrance with a code lock…but I couldn’t get it to work and no one was available to help. Certainly not the rude bouncer who clearly didn’t remember that there were guests staying in the “hotel”. When I left in the morning, there was no one in sight and the door I came in through was bolted shut. I had to go back upstairs and find an alternate exit. No one had told me about locking the bottom floor so no one could exit. All in all I felt like it was extremely over-priced.

Everything was good! Just extremely noisy. If you want to sleep this is not the place to stay. I called management to let them know one of the other clients had extremely loud music. They did help but management was extremely rude to me on the phone. The manager started yelling at me because I was asking for another room to be able to sleep.

Considering the central location in London, we had a surprisingly quiet room. There was the exception of a couple of room doors slamming shut at night, though not too late, presumably because they're all fire safety doors. The bed was very large and fairly comfortable. Though the footprint of the room wasn't huge, it felt very spacious because of the lovely high ceilings, and the decor was contemporary and attractive. The bathroom was small but clean and functional. The tap was a bit loose but not a problem. It would've been useful to have a hook or two on the door to hang clothes etc on. AC worked very well and cooled the room quickly. Overall a very pleasant stay, and for the price, we'll probably come back when next in London.
