Clean budget hotel with a friendly staff conveniently located near Paddington Station. Numerous restaurant options in the neighborhood.

Hotel is in excellent location and while the room was clean and more than suitable for our needs, I booked a double room and was given a family room, which I felt would have been better suited to families staying at the hotel.
Having access to tea and coffee in the lobby, with no facilities in the room, really isn't suitable or particularly practical. We were put in a room on the lower ground floor and were surrounded by the sound of staff talking, as well as loud bangs and noise coming from the kitchens opposite the room and the linen rooms directly outside.
I also found a knife in the drawer with the Bible. I have no thoughts on that!

What you would expect, have the things needed and good for the price. The only thing that I have to complain about really is the breakfast, there is only like bread, cereal with milk and eggs. Would really have been appreciated if there was a little bit more to choose from

The hotel is in a great location with easy access to Paddington Station and central London, which was the biggest advantage of our stay.
Unfortunately, the hotel itself did not live up to expectations. The room had old carpets with several stains, which made it feel less clean. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. I was served toast bread with visible mold, and the boiled eggs were overcooked to the point where the yolks had turned dark around the edges.
The location is excellent, and the staff are friendly, but the cleanliness needs to be improved, and the overall interior could do with a makeover.

Completely overpriced dive.

The hotel is not recommended at all. We knew that we could not expect much, but it was truly terrible. Much of this coincides with the other reviews. Fortunately, however, we did not have any critters in the bed. But: The room was very small and unbearably hot. We did not need our bedding. On the first day, the water trickled out of the shower, so that one had trouble rinsing out the shampoo. After a sweaty night, I was standing in the shower again when the water suddenly cut out completely, just after I had rinsed my hair! We were lucky, because it didn't run again until we checked out. The breakfast was the worst we have ever "enjoyed." "Toast," one type of cheese and boiled ham, not very tasty, tasted like plastic, jam from little tubs, plus instant coffee, extremely strong. It was undrinkable. Hotel guests had to wait in the hallway until a table became free to eat breakfast, because there were too few tables. A dark room, an insane noise level, everything echoed. This is not how one imagines the start of a vacation day. The receptionist did not care that we had no water. We completely advise against booking this hotel.
