Perfect west end boutique hotel

Came to London to see a show. This place is perfectly located, spotless and with a really relaxed ambience but right in the heart of soho. Close to everything. I booked a small double (suitable for one) knowing exactly what i was getting but it blew me away for the price.
The room was extremely clean and comfortable with a great bed for sleep and tv. The shower was fantastic and despite overlooking Frith St it was fully soundproofed!
I was here on the hottest day of the year. 38 degrees. The whole hotel has a central air filtration system which keeps the climate perfect. AND it has aircon if you need a cold blast.
Cocktails in the bar are delish and all of the staff were utterly charming. Definitely making this my short stay bolthole. Always love Molton Brown toiletries too.... real value for money.

Avoid if you want to be able to sleep at night

I am in London several times a year visiting family as well a world traveler. I was so disappointed in my stay I wanted to check out and return home back to Florida as soon as I checked in. I reserved petite room for 4 days. I came in fatigue and jet lagged due to overnight flight. The room is above the hotel busy bar and has no window proofing. I have never stayed in a hotel that was this noisy. Expect to hear loud motorcycles, cars, and patrons talking well into early hours in the morning. It felt like fraud as it’s their bar and they know that the room has no sound proofing. The room is so small that you are not able to open the door without hitting your suitcase as there is
no place to put it in the room and size is smallest then my walk in closet at home. Furthermore there is a strong pungent urine smell from the bathroom that due to the size of the room would turn my stomach as it can be smelled into the tiny area of the bed a few step away. I tried to spend the day away as that’s how awful of an experience. I rarely use boutique hotels instead staying in 4 or 5 stars chains like Renaissance, W, Marriott, etc. I regret not doing the same this time.

Soho stay

Nice boutique experience at a sensible price in central London (Soho and theatre district) . Stayed in the ‘annex’ in Greek Street. (No lift) Room was cosy but well furnished. Lovely big bed (king/queen?) nice linen, towels etc. and fluffy dressing gown.

Location is 10/10.
The rooms are very clean.
One of the cutest hotel in London, the décoration design is soooo cosy et chic.
The service is great and staff Lovely !

Great location, good sleep

Mimi's is exactly what you see on their website - a hotel with very small rooms that's good for people who plan on spending their days out and about. You can't beat the location. I was in a Mimi's Mini and had a window overlooking Frith Street. Street noise was definitely audible until around 10-11pm on busy weekend nights, but generally got quieter after that. I had no trouble sleeping.
Bed was very comfortable, wi-fi signal strong, air conditioning was a big plus on warm summer days when I was there.
I imagine this room would feel very tight for two people, but for one it's fine. There's a shelf at the end of the bed which can hold two carry-on sized bags. I suppose if you have a full-sized suitcase it'd have to go under the bed. Shower space was fine for me, but would be quite cramped for some.
Be aware - the websites for both the hotel and the bar incorrectly state that bar is open for breakfast from 7am. I went there right at 7am ahead of an early flight and was told it was actually 7:30. Bar person seemed puzzled I'd think it was 7, and desk staff were indifferent about this error.
Overall enjoyed my stay, will stay here again if back in the area.
