The website shows a nice breakfast bar whereas in fact breakfast is served in your room comprising of a cold sausage (singular) a fried egg again cold, a cold pot of baked beans, a hash brown fried to death and 2 rounds of toast without butter - no condiments nowhere to eat it (if you dared) other than sitting on your bed. When I took it back down to reception I was told no refund, I asked to see the breakfast room shown on the website but was told it is being refurbished, I said I would still like to see it as the picture looks like a nice clean modern hotel and nothing like the one experienced but the gentleman said it would not be possible.
The hotel is very handy for the local train station which can be heard throughout the night.
If I had paid £40.00 to £50.00 for the night I would have blamed myself but when it's double that I feel cheated.

Every door squeaks so disturbing other customers and floors.
No ups or cutlery to make tea or coffee etc.
Very dated urgently needs decorating

Bathroom was clean with a good shower. The cups in the room were dirty and there's no spoon to make a hot drink. Also the milk provided had gone off and was lumpy!
Overall, it was ok and very affordable for London!
