Basis room but had everything you need for one night. Good location for Hyde Park. Breakfast as Basis but could have done with some fresh chopped up fruit. Would stay again, staff very helpful and friendly.

Excellent location but explained my husband has heart condition and climbing to 2 and floor was difficult, and this was ignored.

Amazing find

Excellent location in the heart of Knightsbridge Really lovely little hotel with very clean rooms and lovely shower. Considering location amazingly cheap with very helpful staff and good selection at breakfast. The luggage drop room was a godsend. Unfortunately no aircon in the room but a fan was supplied. We did have a window open but as you would expect for the heart of London it was too noisy.
Be aware there are no lifts to upper floors

Hotel could do with some modernising. Room was average but didn’t have AC.
Breakfast wasn’t inspiring either. Staff were ok.

Very good hotel for the price in South Kensington

Stayed at the Acacia Hotel Queensberry Place, South Kensington for two nights October 2025. It is a HOTEL NOT A HOSTEL. We were attending a concert at The Royal Albert Hall which is not far away and to do a little sightseeing/shopping.
The hotel was easy to get to from Euston station and is around the corner from the Natural History Museum. We chose the bus route to get there as we like to see stuff on the way and the bus is perfect for this. The buses 345 and then 74 took us virtually straight there. Find your routes on Google maps. They worked every time we searched for routes around London. The hotel will not let you check in before 3pm but they allowed us to leave our bags in the luggage cupboard and we went off for something to eat for an hour whilst we waited for the room to be ready. We ate at GBK round the corner (burger, fries and a drink £10.95) great value! Anyway we checked in. You need ID so remember to take that with you. And were given our key to room 22 on the second floor. There are no lifts so be prepared for many stairs. The communal décor is a bit tired but ok and it was bright and airy and the staff were friendly.
The room was quite big contained a big king size bed, open wardrobe, tea & coffee making stuff, fridge freezer (!) table and 1 club chair , free standing fan, tv and remote. There was a radiator on one side. Bathroom was located through a door and up a little flight of stairs. It had a toilet, plenty of loo rolls, basin, shower cubicle and lean-to mirror. Toiletries and towels provided.
The bed was very comfortable. There was a spare duvet and the pillows were great. Please note it was quite cold and I couldn’t get the radiator to work, reception was closed as it was after 10pm when we returned from our concert but we found out next morning you have to ask them to turn the heating on. There is no heating in the bathroom which I imagine is Baltic in the winter. The hot and cold taps are the wrong way round so the red tap is cold and the hot is blue in room 22! There was some black mould appearing on the bathroom ceiling and around the shower and wash basin.
The room is quite dark too despite the ceiling light, two bedside lamps with wonky shades and reading lights. The view isn’t much but that was no problem to us.
Breakfast is served 7.30-9.30am and was pleasantly lovely. Continental in style, there were cereals, juices, coffee, teas, cold meats, boiled eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese, breads and two 4 slice toasters. Really delicious and filling, we really thought the breakfast was great and the dining room was spotless and you could see into the kitchen which was equally clean.
We would stay here again. It’s not the Ritz but it’s comfy and clean and the beds are great to sleep in. It’s location is superb and the price reasonable for this London location.

Very good location
