Weekend break

A really nice experience, very friendly staff, good food and made us feel very welcome.

Disappointed with Premier Inn stay.

Staff on arrival were pleasant, but the stay deteriorated rapidly. I slipped in the bath on the first night because the surface was dangerously slippery. The extractor fan in the bathroom was running but failed to extract anything. On top of that, an awful smell came from the toilet and lingered for 24 hours.Breakfast was unacceptable. The choice of Danish pastries was extremely limited and child selection was poor. We waited nearly 40 minutes to be served a cooked breakfast. When it finally arrived, the bacon had a foul smell, the poached egg was rubbery, and the sausages were grisly. Overall, the standard of breakfast was far below what should be expected.

Great customer service experience

I just wanted to thank the amazing staff at this hotel, especially Phil, for making our family stay so comfortable. They really couldn’t do enough to help. Super friendly and just a fabulous example of great customer service. Excellent breakfast too. Hotel was clean and comfy and as you would expect from this chain but the staff set it apart from other stays I’ve had.

Could do better

Building work outside, room a bit tired, time waiting for food at dinner and breakfast very slow. Didn’t seem to be organised
