Excellent value for money.

Had a two night stay at the California Hotel. Friendly staff make check in quick and straightforward. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. There's a burger bar adjoining and Benllech tandoori within easy walking distance if you don't fancy driving out for a bite to eat on the evening. We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was overnight too. The hotel is in a great location for visiting Benllech and Moelfre. Will definitely visit again.

Welcome to the California Inn

Very clean bedroom in the California Inn. You collect your key from behind the bar and from that point you are on your own accessing the property through the conservatory. Food is no longer made on the property but they do provide details of local restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Short stay

Recently stayed here for 2 nights.
The double bed room was quite small compared to twin bed room and a single room. But it was still ok as was only in the room to purely sleep.
The bed was comfy and soft and Wi-Fi was good.
It was great that hotel provided free bottle of waters and biscuits too! Very nice of them .
Staff was friendly too.

nice area

the room we started off in had no wifi and awful TV reception (unwatchable).
we paid for 2x5 days of breakfast but only got breakfast on the first 2 days. very nice cereal and fried breakfast at first.
there is nothing at all locally except a garage with petrol pump,
but the beach etc at Benllech is a lovely 40 minute downhill walk away -
a Tesco express is there and a Co-Op + takeaways etc.
the Tandoori Restaurant/golf club is only partly open, tho it is fine
when it is open.
need a vehicle really
