Nice room overlooking road. Had everything we needed, including a fan as the weather was hot. Had breakfast one morning and that was good - not buffet style other than tea & coffee. Staff were all very helpful and parking very useful.

Perfectly fine and cozy hotel. Lovely breakfast. Lacks AC (air condition), which was heavy, as we stayed in Lechlade during a heatwave, but the price also reflects this. At least it was possible to open the windows quite wide, and we also received a fan that we placed in the window sill, and it did an alright job at cooling the room during the night.

A great place full of character. The evening meal and breakfast was outstanding and the staff were particularly friendly and helpful.
If you want a taste of the Cotswolds without all the hype and commercialism then the New Inn and Lechlade are worth a visit.

Lunch out

We stopped here for some lunch on our way home from Sailsbury. We were greeted by staff as soon as we got in and seated. The food was amazing, the curry, well what can i say, it was a proper asian style curry full of tradidional flavours. The fishcakes were tasty too. Staff were very pleasant. All around the bar area, garden area, restaurant and toilets all kept very clean.
Well done team, you sure will see us more often. Thank you.

Lovely stay visiting family

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were made to feel very
welcome throughout. We were visiting family and appreciated that the
accommodation was dog-friendly. The food was excellent—I always choose the
steak, which was cooked to perfection and food arrived quickly every time. The
location is wonderful, right by the river Thames very peaceful, and the accommodation
was clean, shout out to the Housekeeper who did me a favour and cleaned the
floor after our dog had brought mud in, very comfortable, and well maintained.
We would happily stay again and highly recommend it.
