Short stay

Returning guest- stayed here with our daughter’s dog. Staff very friendly and exceptional customer service. Would highly recommend if staying in Kirkby Lonsdale.

Fabulous stay

Lovely room, great atmosphere, fabulous food. Staff are so friendly and service was excellent. Perfect location in the heart of Kirkby Lonsdale.

Visit not to be repeated!

When we arrived the place was heaving and v noisy (we do appreciate it was a Saturday night). We were shown to our room (Room 3) which appeared to be directly over the main bar and one of the windows was open (since hot outside) and the noise from outside was as bad as the noise from the bar. At least we could close the window but do nothing about the noise from below. Later in the evening as people were retiring to other rooms, you could hear every step on the stairs and within the adjoining rooms (particularly the noise from the room above). It seemed as if it were just floor boards and no insulation. The following morning at breakfast, we both had full English. Both black puddings we ended up leaving because undercooked and the sausages were also undercooked, toast was burnt.

Book as soon as possible.

First time of visiting Platos and Kirkby Lonsdale, it didn’t disappoint. The rooms were so good. The ambiance and feel of the was amazing. The bed was so comfortable. The decor was so classy, bathers gleaming and the shower was just perfect. The was a choice of various hot drinks to choose from. We also ate in the restaurant. Food was so delicious, along with the choice of alcohol, cocktails etc. We had breakfast on both days and it was delicious. If you needed to change anything they were so flexible. Definitely decided that we need another visit!!!
