Great base for walking.

Three nights here as a base for our 7 day walk. Great room and perfect for our dog. Lovely bath and facilities. 3 min walk into town. No brekkie but coop and facilities in town perfect. Nice a quiet too.

Do not stay here!

Usually, we try to find the good in the places where we book and try to adapt, but here...
The “hotel” leaves much to be desired, starting with the main door that doesn't close and the room that was open..!!!!
But it doesn't end here: in the room, there is no closet or coat rack. Only a small table and 2 small nightstands. For a 6-night stay it is quite uncomfortable, what do you think?
The faucets don't have a mixer, which means you have either boiling or cold water. No minibar, nor hair dryer. No bedside lamp.
The hotel is undergoing renovations; this had not been communicated to us.
I wonder if the owners would be comfortable staying in such a dilapidated hotel.

Oh I stayed here one night and then had to go home . It was awful carpet full of crumbs and dog hair . Bathroom was grim and needed a good clean . The room was smelling musty and needed a good clean definitely won't be back

Arrived at the property with no one in attendance key was picked uo from remote locked box.
Went to the room and found tbe doir to ths bedroom had dirt and stains on the door, the main roller blind in the bedroom when unrolled had dead moths stuck to it. The bathroom didn't have any toilet paper (a badic necessity i would have thought) which we had to go to the shops and buy, we went to the main building to complain but there was no staff there, building is under heavy refurbishment and looks like a building site. Had no point of contact the full stay.
Stated on the hotel ad that breakfast was available but we found out only aftet we paid the room that there was ni facilities for breakfast and was informed by email there was plenty food outlets on the high street.
Did not enjoy the stay and definitely would not recommend tbis Hotel to anyone.

Avoid this property!! It can't be called a hotel in its current state as it's being renovated. Looks like they are renting out a few rooms whilst work in progress. No staff on the premises. Key safe to retrieve room key inside front door that was permanently open as no lock, so amyone could wander in.Room door lock wasn't very secure.
No bar or restaurant facilities. Building materials in entrance and stairway.
Bed was broken, no soap in bathroom. Toilet not attached to the wall properly. The shower didn't work. No spare pillows.
No indication that the property was being worked on during booking process. If I had known I would not have booked.
