Great food, comfortable room. Stay here is a must.

I 100% recommend this hotel. We were there for a friend's wedding and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Clean and comfortable room, air conditioning was a bonus with the current heatwave, which made our stay more comfortable. Shout outs go to Shaun and Tony for great service. Food was good and buffet after the ceremony was perfect. No doubt we will be back for another stay at sometime. Thank you again !

I can't wait to go back again

I go to a lot of hotels and this one was fantastic. From the moment I arrived we were checked in by Jordan, who almost made us part of the family. The location is so handy for the dock area just a couple of minutes walk. My wife came with me and she is not mobile. She needs to use a mobility scooter. There was a disabled space empty very close to the door. When we checked in I asked how much the parking was, Jordan said it was free. Another bonus. He asked us if we would like breakfast, so we decided to take a chance and ordered it, for £26 I think for the two of us. THere was only one minor problem, the disabled wet room was a bit smelly. I reported it but I didn't think it was necessary to get them to sort it right away. But I’m sure they will. We had a night out down at the docks, then had a comfortable night's sleep in an air conditioned paradise, this was on Aug 13th the hottest night of the year. This morning we went to breakfast at about 9:15. We were welcomed in by Tony and we were really looked after. The breakfast buffet was so much better than anything I’ve been lucky enough for in years. You cannot beat the service that we experienced this morning from Tony and his sidekick, so much fun these guys love their job and it shows. I’m definitely going to use the Novotel in Ipswich whenever we go that way again. They will make your eggs to order, fried, poached or omelet if scrambled is not your favourite. I’ll have to go back, I left my laptop charger behind and they are looking after it.

Clean, tidy and outstanding food!!!

A lovely clean and well managed hotel, clean tidy and all the facilities you need as well as a good location for a walk in the evening after the workday. The real standout was the outstanding food in the evening!!! The kitchen team take real pride in what is presented and the flavours are spot on. Honestly some of the best food I have had in a chain hotel a true credit. Will always endeavour to book here when in the area.

An over night stay which we enjoyed

Check in was very straight forward thank you Jorden. We stayed in room 321 at the back of the Hotel which was a very quiet room which faced the car park. The car park is above ground but limited parking. We booked in at 3pm so parking available but later in the evening it was limited The room was clean with a powerful shower and Air conditioning which on a hot day was great .Bed very comfortable. Also there was a filtered water dispenser opposite the lift. Breakfast was very good thank you Sara for you welcome .Also thank you Tony for your help in the breakfast restaurant. Check out straight forward thank you Steven , a hotel which we plan to return to
