Travelodge exeter

I stayed at the travelodge in exeter just by the m5 . . The location was nextdoor to the services which was handy for food and fuel . The room was clean . I would definitely stay here again

Trades Beware When Parking Here

I was parked in the Travelodge car park today, waiting to meet a friend. A tall swarthy, bearded man walked up to the car park and stood under the oak tree at the entrance, looking at my car. There was another car parked nearby with a couple in it, I was on my own. The man approached the couple’s car, walked around it and looked inside. He then approached my car, and I put my window up and locked the door. He walked right around my car looking inside and then read out my numberplate to someone on his phone. He then called me something which I won’t repeat and walked off towards reception. I was really frightened by him. According to the couple in the car next to mine, he was there the day before loitering by the car park looking at cars. This man is 6 foot two, dressed in black combats and a black t shirt, he has a scruffy beard and was carrying a black ruck sack.
When I went to reception to report what happened he was outside and called me a liar when I said what happened.
I would advise any trades to watch out for this man as he’s intimidating and definitely up to no good.
The incident has been reported to the police.

Comfortable stay

Very comfortable stay with the family and our two dogs. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay there again when travelling in that direction.

Great night sleep

Check in was fast , i got a decent nights sleep , as the bed was comfortable . Receptionist was friendly , was value for money.

En route to daughter’s wedding in Devon

Really lovely stay en route to our daughter’s wedding. Rooms immaculate & staff couldn’t do enough for us, especially Carla the receptionist.
