Met our requirements

£315 for three nights in May. It’s centrally located. Everything is a short walk away as Ely is a small city. Plenty of cafes, shops and restaurants nearby. It’s basically one room with a bathroom off it. Shower is fine. Macerator toilet is noisy during the night. Kitchen area is an alcove with a kettle,toaster and microwave. Tea and coffee are provided with a small bottle of milk in the fridge. There’s a basket with some Aldi crisps and biscuits. The bed is the only negative. It’s set into an alcove and is awkward to get in and out of during the night. The street can be quite noisy at night but it quietens after 11pm. I’d book again

Perfect stay in Ely

Lovely apartment with all you need. The snacks and milk were a lovely touch upon our arrival. The location, cleanliness and decor were fab.

Studio 3 was great

Great central location, well appointed and stylish. We had studio 3 which had a comfy double bed, sofa bed and pull out bed so loads of options. Welcome pack (milk/crisps/biscuits/water) and tea, coffee etc appreciated. Electronic key pad locks not the easiest to work at first but we soon got the hang of them. I had asked re parking beforehand and realised that we'd have to move the car early and wouldn't be guaranteed a space in the nearest free carpark so we used just park and parked in the Waitrose carpark (5 mins walk) for £12 for three days/nights which was perfect. Would happily recommend city studios apt 3.

Nice room spoiled by poor design

My wife and I stayed in room 2.
This is the room with the bed enclosed on three sides. As a couple of a certain age, our nights are frequently interrupted for the toilet.
So one person having to climb over the other on the middle of the night did not make for a good night's sleep.
On our second night we put the mattress on the floor. It is the first time we have ever had to sleep on the floor.
Otherwise, the room was nice, tidy and well appointed.
Just make sure you are not in room 2 if you are a couple wanting a good night's sleep

Harry Potter’s bedroom

We booked 2 nights here in an upgraded room via Booking.com. What we walked into was a standard room with a double bed set within an alcove. As an elderly couple we were astonished that anyone would expect two people to sleep in this bed. We found it very difficult to get in & out of the bed an checked out after a dreadful nights sleep. We contacted the owner who relinquished any responsibility referring us to back to Booking.com. It took a week to get a response from Booking.com who basically said they will refund our 2nd night if we change our poor review on their website. We have refused to do that and hence I am making others aware of this poor practice and customer manipulation so that they can continue to advertise sub standard accommodation.
