Check-in was quick and easy. The rooms were comfortable and clean. My only complaint is how warm the room got without A/C controls in the room. We also used their luggage storage the day of check-out to go sightseeing before our flight. I loved that convenience. The staff were all friendly

Less then impressed
Inconvenient to get to our room as it was outside and around the building from check in. Like an anex!
no phone in room, no paper towels, hair dryer only had cool setting.
Staff was friendly enough but would no recommend staying here again.

I appreciate that being allocated a room located outside the main building was not what you expected, and I understand how this could have impacted your experience. Stayed in a family room (double and bunk beds) during the Fringe. Room was enormous - made the double bed look tiny! - with sofa and table and desk. Shower and bathroom were excellent. Check in was OK and no dramas.
My only complaint would be noise from the street from just before 7am but this very much comes with being located in a city centre and wasn't a big issue as the kids were stirring.
Location is fine, 15 mins gentle pace walk from the train station.
Overall a great, safe, place for us to stay.

Great location, no parking at all
Stayed here because of the proximity to Edinburgh Castle. This is a great location and we could easily walk to the castle for the Military Tattoo, the Royal Mile, Princess St. and most other tourist locations we wanted to see. Friendly staff, comfortable accommodations. There is no restaurant on site, but plenty of options nearby. The ONLY thing to warn people of, if you are renting a car there is NO, and I mean ZERO parking. We drove around in circles trying to find somewhere to unload our luggage. You have to park at the Castle Terrace Car Park (NCP) and then it's a quick walk to the hotel.

Good stay
I stayed at Four Points Flex by Sheraton Edinburgh with my family and had a pleasant overall experience. The hotel is in a very good location, making it convenient to explore the city. The room was neat, clean, spacious, and more like an apartment, which was perfect for a family stay.
One unique aspect of our stay was that our room was located in a separate building about three blocks away from the main hotel reception. It had its own entrance that could only be accessed using the room key card. While this provided extra privacy and a quieter environment, it also meant that we had very little interaction with the hotel or its staff. We only visited the reception to collect and return the access cards.
Overall, the excellent location, spacious apartment-style accommodation, and cleanliness made for a comfortable stay. Guests should simply be aware that, depending on the room assigned, they may be staying in a separate building rather than the main hotel.
