Very pleasant visit

Location was central.
The hotel was clean, tidy and modern.
It was a warm day, the room was clean and cool with air conditioning on when we arrived.
Some of the reviews on the travelodge weren't very good so I presume the hotel had been modernised quite recently.
The car park, although not on the grounds, was close by. There is a charge but not an extortionate one.
Absolutely no problems with our visit at all.

Nice hotel, recommend to others.

First time staying in this hotel and I found it to be nice and quiet in a very nice town. Rooms are nice but a little out dated. However staff are nice, Receptionist Kaylee was very welcoming and friendly. Helped me and my partner with a lovely room after the first one was too hot. There was no hesitation to meet our needs and made us feel comfortable. We will stay here again in the future.

New receptionist was brilliant!

Stayed again recently with family and it was a really good experience, as usual! I have to say the new girl wearing glasses behind the desk doing a training day was amazing, really friendly! (We didn't catch her name, sorry!) We will definitely be staying again.

Dog running around the reception

The hotel was okay, however I’m glad I didn’t have my daughter with me as she has a phobia of dogs and much to my shock the hotel appeared to have a resident dog running around behind the reception desk which can’t be good for hyigene either. I didn’t want to raise the issue at the time because the receptionist was very welcoming and friendly.

Good location and friendly staff

I had a great stay at the Travelodge East Grinstead. It’s in a good location, just a short walk from the town centre and train station, making it really convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and all the staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. I’d happily stay here again.
