A great time at the George Hotel.

Excellent hotel situated right in the centre of the beautiful village of Easingwold. The staff particularly, John, Paul, Becks, Katie and Alison were particularly brilliant. The bar and restaurant were busy and the food is great with a wide selection of beers. The rooms are very well decorated and clean with all the amenities. The hotel is very pet recently with nice areas set aside for people with pets. Nice outside sitting area too to enjoy the afternoon sun. Easingwold too has easy bus access to York and Thirsk. The village is lively yet very chilled out. The 'cafe culture' is rife around the Market Square. A great place to relax and explore. My wife and I'll can't wait to return.

Fantastic stay with friends

What a fabulous stay we had at this lovely hotel last Saturday! We were spoilt from arrival until leaving by the attentive staff, fantastic food and the massive amount of drinks choice!
I unfortunately left behind my kindle and phoned the hotel who promptly posted it back. Customer service here is outstanding, the ambience in the dining room is something else- we can’t wait to return. Thank you for looking after us so well ❤️ ps gorgeous wallpapers!

Delightful Meal

We found this hotel in the middle of the town whilst we were looking somewhere to eat. We were greeted warmly by a staff. The place had good vibes.
The Seabass dish I selected was so delicious as well as the the apple pie.
The service provided was great.
Overall it was a very good choice to have our dinner. I highly recommend the restaurant if happen you happen to be in the vicinity.

Brilliant value great room and cosy. Good selection of beers and wines. More importantly the dinner was amazing the breakfasts absolutely fantastic. Was a pleasure to eat here. Great location quick into York if you’re driving and plenty of free parking. Able choices of local pubs and restaurants. Nice walks and close to Thirsk and the surrounding areas

Easingwold is a superb rural Yorkshire town set in the Vale of York. The George Hotel is the jewel in the crown of Easingwold. I can't fault it at all. The staff, the accommodation, the food especially the breakfasts were all amazing. The atmosphere in the bar was lively, friendly and very popular.
