The property was a bit tired and dated, my bathroom was very small and as I couldn't open the bathroom door very much due to the bed being in the way, I managed to scratch myself on doorhandle.
Sanjeewa on reception/ kitchen duties and possibly everything else was absolutely wonderful.
Parking was a 10 minute walk from hotel in a public car park.

Terrible place, Don’t stay here !

Terrible place. On website the rooms looked nice BUT!!! The room given was not fit for purpose. Broken old furniture the socket was broken loads of extension wires. Carpet was thread bare and dirty. Headboard held on with screws sticking out. Large bed with two different size mattress on it. Refused to stay there when asked for refund I was refused. Found a different hotel. The only good thing was location.

It was clean but most things were very old/a bit broken. Threadbare carpet, hole in the wall where the door had smashed into it, cracked window pane. I stayed in a room in the top floor that was very hot. There were no fans and it was noisy outside (not unreasonable due to location being very central in canterbury), breakfast also wasn't ready at 8.00 as advertised. That said the bed was fairly comfortable. The man working there was helpful but this unfortunately didnt make up for the state of the room.

Basic but clean, right in centre so good
location. Great host. Only complaint would be only one very flat pillow but otherwise fine for a one night stay.

though the hotel is quite old and some facilities are not good(e.g. window not easily opened, wifi signal is weak if not on gound floor), yet the staff (Sanjeewa) was very helpful, kind and gentle.
the location is superb, and the breakfast is great as well.
