Good value for money

This was a good mid-range hotel in a great location. The staff were friendly, a continental breakfast was included and we were able to check in at 10pm, which suited us as we were coming on from visiting friends. The central location allowed us to wander around the colleges and river before we left.

Our lovely room felt like a B&B. We opened the window. I don't think our room was air-conditioned. Excellent location by the river and Jesus Green, and walkable from Bridge Street. We enjoyed dinner and happy hour

Location good but it tired

This is a good location if you are wanting to explore the city. I was only staying the one night so it suited me but not sure it would be a place to stay several days. Hotel is a bit tired and clearly having trouble recruiting staff. Room perfectly reasonable though shower a bit of a squeeze. Reception staff could do with understanding that if someone is waiting, then perhaps you leave your social conversation until later

My stay

We had a pleasant stay at hotel, but our bed in room 95 was a very small double which disturbed our sleep. But room was clean and pleasant but TV placed on wrong wall in room to watch. Very limited choice for Gluten free food.

Great we had a fantastic room and the staff were all a delight very helpful its a proper English hotel still going strong as its in such a great place and super value - you will not regrett a stay here go for it .
