Don’t Judge This Hotel by Its Location — A Surprisingly Modern and Excellent Stay

Amazing experience overall. I was looking for somewhere good value while attending a conference at the International Convention Centre and came across this hotel. Closer to the stay, I checked Google Maps and was shocked to see it was located above a petrol station forecourt, which honestly made me worry about what I’d booked.
However, I couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised by the quality of both the hotel and the rooms. There’s no traditional check-in desk, with all communication handled via WhatsApp. We booked through Booking.com, which didn’t provide much detail about the check-in process, so I found a mobile number online and called it. I was advised to send a WhatsApp message with my name and booking details, and shortly afterwards I received a message with the room number and door entry code.
When we arrived, another guest was also checking in. Inside the main entrance there’s a lift to the two floors where the rooms are located. The lift is quite unusual and open-style — secure, but not something you see very often these days.
Once we got to the room, I was genuinely impressed. Everything was modern, clean, fresh, and looked almost brand new. The bed was very comfortable, and the technology throughout the room was excellent, including an electronic doorbell and a digital display panel outside the room with “Do Not Disturb” and “Make Up My Room” options. There was also a good-sized wall-mounted TV with most streaming services available and already signed in for guest use.
The bathroom facilities were equally impressive — spotless, modern, and very well maintained.
I was honestly dreading the stay at first after realising the location, but the hotel completely exceeded my expectations. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again if I’m back in the area.

What a fabulous find!!
We stayed here as we were in Birmingham for my nieces hen weekend & were not disappointed!!
Lovely room - very comfortable with amazing air conditioning which was very welcome during the current heatwave
Very easy to find - even received a video with directions for the car park
The only slight negative was the fridge not working, however the very helpful lady who came to sort it said we could message the 24 hour garage next door & they would bring cold drinks etc should be need them
We would definitely stay here again - fab find!!

Lovely clean room with fantastic air conditioning. Bed was very comfy and a good hot shower. The building itself was very quiet but there was a little noise from about 08:30am from the car wash next door. Nothing which couldn’t be blocked out with earplugs though. Complimentary snacks and drinks with our room type, slippers, extra shower gel and pillow mist! The access code didn’t come through so I rang the help number and they sent it straight through via WhatsApp and messaged me again a few times just to check everything was all ok. Hotel was within walking distance of the city centre. Can’t fault it. Would recommend all day long.

No good

Was told there was coach parking but there's wasn't told they catered for disabled people don't Was told the breakfast was in with the deal wasn't when you phone up you get the call center not the hotel and they promise you everything they don't do the disabled person we had with us had to sleep in is electric chair all night cause the bed was unsuitable for a disabled person did they care no I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a dog to sleep in

Cracking little hotel, easy to park and find, super helpful WhatsApp messages from them, lovely clean rooms, will definitely stay here again
