Exceptional

This is a great hotel, in a great location, serving up great food and cocktails. But what I enjoyed most of all was the quality of the staff. At every opportunity from check in, to the cafe, to the first floor restaurant, to the Observatory, to the folks on the turn-down service, to the concierge - all were exceptional. This doesn't happen by accident.
Maybe too much detail, but I was using the ground floor bathroom as I was leaving and the guy cleaning points me in the right direction and wishes me a good day..

The room was clean & bed was comfy. I was disappointed to find only one breakfast tea bag on the tray. On the second morning of our stay the room was not serviced. Admittedly I had put the ‘do not disturb’ sign on the door, (as I had the previous day with no problem) but changed it when we went out at 11am. I wrongly assumed this gave housekeeping ample time to service the room. So no clean towels, replenished tea/coffee making facilities etc. I also object to 10% service charge being automatically added to the cost of drinks in the bars. We carried the unopened bottle of wine & glasses to the table ourselves.
In our room the end of the curtain had come off the track when we arrived & stayed that way.
I suppose none of these are major problems but also not what one expects from a 5⭐️ hotel with the reputation that the Grand Central Hotel, Belfast has.

Staff so attentive and pleasant especially reception,concierge Noel the chef at breakfast was so brilliant ,couldn’t do enough for you
Will definitely be back

We had the best time in the Grand Central Hotel. Gorgeous Hotel & perfect location. Thank you so much to Jake, General Manager. What a Gent! It was our Anniversary & he upgraded us to a City View Suite. Fabulous! We were treated like Royalty and Jake made us feel so special! We can't wait to stay again! Amazing view from the Observatory Bar. Shout out too to the lovely lady front of house for breakfast!

Staff were lovely to deal with, very friendly and helpful on the front desk- Ethan &Micah. Room was beautiful, very clean and stylish. We enjoyed a great breakfast and loved the city centre location.
