Rest and recharge

We spent 2 nights at the charming Pond Cottage at Frasers. The first thing I said when we walked in was, ‘the online photos don’t do it justice!’ It’s a luxurious and spacious self-catering space on one level (a small barn conversion) with its own garden area overlooking a pond. Very private, very quiet, absolutely restful. The sitting room and kitchen are in the middle of the property, with en-suite bedrooms each with their own tv on either end, which was lovely for us, having our tweenage son happily enjoying his own bedroom, tv and bathroom completely out of earshot of us at the other end in the spacious master suite. Frasers have successfully given cute cosy cottage vibes, along with space and luxury. Perfect for a country break. There are some stunning pubs nearby and we did a day trip to nearby Folkestone, which has undergone massive regeneration on the Harbour Arm and is crammed full of quirky charming little bars and restaurants as well as the beautiful Sunny Beach. You can also visit the 4x cinema in Ashford and experience being shaken about in your chair with water, wind and smell as you watch an action movie. Our son loved this. We’d love to return at some point when London again gets too much! Thanks in particular to Jo at Frasers, who was very patient with our ever-changing dates.

Do not book boiler has fault and has had since 10th Aug 25 6 months they are letting this room out with a faulty boiler

The location was great, the room was clean, they even gave us a free bottle of prosecco. But after being in the room for a hour or so, went to light the kindling wood for the fire pit the lighter that was supplied was empty, luckily we had one of our own otherwise we would not of been able to use the fire pit to cook on.
The boiler does not work, I called reception and was told to wait 10 minutes as the boiler pressure stops it working. We waited and tried it twice more in 30 minutes. I then called reception again to say the boiler is still not working no hot water for a shower or to wash up with. A lady then came to the door to say that the E1 fault code on the boiler was due to a pin being out on then gastronomic valve. This was complete lies as the boiler was never working as the e1 fault code is a thermostat fault, which explained when the boiler reached 60- degrees it would then shut off for 10 mins so you would have warm not hot water for around 1.5 mins max then none for a further 10 mins. The worst part about this boiler not working is my thoughts that they knew it was not working were correct. The whole Prescence of the staff pointed that they knew of the fault. As of Today the 16th I have seen that another guest on 10th Aug 25 said the exact same fault and issue with then boiler. They need to get it fixed under gas safety laws, when was this boiler last gas safety inspected, supposed tom be every 12 months. Shouldn't be renting the rooms with a serious gas boiler fault could end up being serious just thinking about profit not customer safety.......

Beautiful location, high quality accommodation and impeccable hospitality.

Stayed over night and found the room very comfortable and immaculately clean. The owner was extremely helpful and couldn't do more for us. The Brunch menu was lovely and we would definitely go back!

60th birthday party

We recently hosted our Mum’s 60th birthday here. We hired Stags Barn- the rooms and the dining area and we worked with Jo to create a menu suited to my mum and our guests. My mum and my sister are gluten-intolerant and Jo arranged for all of the canapés to be gluten free so they could have everything. The food was all amazing. The rooms in Stags Barn are beautifully decorated and really comfortable. Mum stayed in ‘Mallard’ which had a beautiful free-standing bath in the room (as well as rainfall shower) and a hot tub outside. It is really peaceful and there are amazing views over the countryside. Everything is finished to a high standard but it has a really lovely relaxed vibe. All of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the experience. We loved all the little touches and the service was fantastic. We’ll definitely stay again. Thanks to Jo, Ben, Alexia, Lisa and all the other wonderful staff that made the event such a success.

Large Family Christmas

We booked this property for our large family of 21 people to spend the Christmas break together. The accommodation was top notch, with enough bedrooms and common room to accommodate us all.
The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and the kitchen is equipped with all modern appliances with enough pots, pans and crockery for us all.
Jo and the entire team at Frasers were extremely helpful.
