VERY NICE OWNER

When i arrived the owner seemed stale. once i had settled in the owner offered a very friendly massage which i instantly agreed too. the night ended in a very passionate way. would visit again. best place i’ve been yet

Racist, Rude, and Ignorant

We thankfully didn’t stay with this B&B as the host made a truly terrible first impression!
The B&B is on a public road with minimal parking restrictions. We parked and wandered into town for coffee. On returning, the owner had parked his car against ours (with the tow bar under and in contact with the, now dented, bodywork). When challenged he said that he had done this deliberately because we were in his space.
He then subjected us to a vitriolic tirade questioning our status as UK citizens, telling us we were “clearly foreign” despite all being British. This escalated and became very rude and uncomfortable.
The property looked very unclean and unsanitary. I wouldn’t wish a visit to this unfriendly establishment on my worst enemy as this man is clearly racist and xenophobic.

Very disappointing

Got there at a busy time and after much hunting around Bowness & Windermere searching for a room this was a last resort or would of had to drive home(wish I had) room was dirty and well run down with a funny smell lingering as my daughter kept pointing out there were cobwebs everywhere plus spiders the front door was left unlocked all the time and only a little lock secured the room door the hosts were present enough but told me breakfasts weren’t been served hence the “good price”but still very over charged for what it was my wife felt like she had to sleep in her clothes over all a bad experience and would definitely not go back this is one to be avoided at all costs a can see now why it was the only b&b in Windermere with rooms available and to be fair a think we were the only people staying there not present at all be warned

Now I know why only vacant B and B in windemere

Once again directed by a man in windemere saying his B and B full. Landlady pleasant. Room tiny, dated and dirty. Cobwebs on curtains, rust on lamps. Milk out of date and couldn't fill kettle in sink size of a small bowl. Room so small couldn't walk around. Toilet and shower dirty, towels grey. Don't know how this is allowed to take guests and charge.

Good Little Quiet Guesthouse

Was a bit of a frantic hunt for a reasonable value place for the night after a long drive and a busy time of the year. Felt lucky to fnd this quiet guesthouse and owner was helpful despite it being quite late a night. Comfortable room with parking nearby.
