Nice atmosphere

A few minutes from the fortress of Cetatea Rupea, we are welcomed by a lady at well past 10pm who unfortunately speaks English but makes herself understood anyway. He very kindly escorts us to the room and takes his leave.
Very nice and welcoming room, decorated in a "zebra" theme. We spent a very restful night.
Typical Romanian breakfast but also toasted bread, butter and jam. Optimal.

Extraordinary!

Excellent! An accommodation one can rarely find! Large room and very beautiful, very comfortable bed. Everything very clean! The host is a special person, extremely pleasant, kind and helpful. Breakfast is the best and most substantial we have ever had (and we have been in a lot of countries)! Many types of homemade cheese, ham and sausages, boiled eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, coffee, tea, jam. I hope I didn't forget something, there were so many and very tasty! Everything is perfect at Michael's House. We stayed only one night and we want to come back to stay longer.

Cosy place

Warm and friendly team that manages a very nice house. The place is in a quiet area, from where you can roam very fast to many nice sightseeings.
The restaurant menu is far from being diverse, yet it is abundent in vegetables, local made cheese and meat products.

10 days tour in romania

Well. The place is adriana, the owner of the place. We arrived late at night, she was seating with two of her friends in rhe yard, drinking beer and pastis. She sat us with them, and we talked for more than an hour. Well, her friens speaks romanian and hungarian, she speaks a little french, me and my wife speak hebrew and english, and yet, it was magic. Of course the beer and pastis worked, and it was a magical evening. Our room was clean and nice with great balcony. View to rupea castle. Breakfast was rich with vegetables, home made pork product, cheese and eggs. The best place we have been in romania. Great hospitality.

Perfect stay, amazing hospitality!

The host of the place Adriana is a wonderfull person! Thank's to her and her friends we had memorable stay at Pensiunea Michael's House. Breakfast was traditional Romanian and delicious, and it's perfect location to visit Cetetea in Rupea. There is also very nice view at it at night. Outside there are some tables and you can order a beer. We reccomend to ask for local palinka - it was delicious.
