Small hotel a bit old but clean

Its practically seafront location and attractive rates are in the highlights. The young woman from the front desk who serves breakfasts is adorable, helpful and always smiling. The rooms are very well maintained daily but... the passage time is very random (return one day at noon, room still not made) and the towels are automatically changed by of their own even if it is left hanging pity! Access to the hotel's Wi-Fi is a plus...
On the other hand... the continental breakfast is only a hot drink, accompanied by a fruit juice of 1/4 of a baguette and a croissant...
On the bedroom side, the air conditioning did not work... the flat screen is very small but enough to look at the meagre programs and the electrical outlet to charge his phone is very far from the night tables, not very convenient!
Conclusion: ideal as a pied à terre for the solo tourist that I was!

Get the job done

Two nights in this hotel Clean, functional, cheap (72 euros/night) , impersonal , it does the work (hiking to the piton on the first night departure at dawn not tested breakfast).
The positive the hotel is just behind the main street of Saint Pierre (everything is within walking distance) so very well placed and quiet compared to traffic.

Very good stay

Very good central hotel on Saint-Pierre. @ 5 minutes walk from the sea and less than 10 minutes from the city center. We can do anything on foot. The reception staff, a young man and a young girl at the top, super nice and helpful. The room was very good for 2 people and always clean, perfect room service every day. Thanks to the maids. The very powerful air conditioner that worked very well. We had to stay there 2 nights, we stayed there 19 nights. Laundry & covered market also nearby. No fridge in the room, which would be a plus; however you have one at the reception. I recommend this hotel and we will come back. Thank you all for our stay, see you soon.

Beware!!!

The location is not St. Pierre and Miquelon, off the coast of Newfoundland! We booked this hotel and when we arrived in St. Pierre and Miquelon, it did not exist. We spoke with several locals, and they heard this about Hotel Cap Sud several times!!The hotel would not refund the 3 rooms. Big Scam if you ask me!!
