great 1 night stay

The Hotel Mandat was a great 1 night stay! The room we stayed in had a great spacious terrace and the welcome drinks were served as we arrived to the hotel. Libor Neumann was exceptionally helpful introducing us to the local attractions sites and we were even allowed to make a campfire. The food was great and the overall offering was exceptional.

never again

We had four booked the houseboat and looked forward to a few days sailing on the Vltava. Payment was requested in advance with the Booking Referral. The pictures on the homepage and at booking.com show the houseboat sailing on the water. At booking.com, the houseboat is also offered as a mobile home. On site it was said the owner does not want us to go by boat, although engine and other equipment are available. It was assumed that we did not have a boat licence - which is not the case. Later the gentleman asked the hotel for a deposit of 4,000€. The boat gave the impression of insufficient maintenance. The toilet may only be used for "Pippi". For the rest you should go to the toilet of the hotel restaurant. Alternatively or as compensation we were offered 2 hotel rooms, which we accepted. A disproportionately high additional fee was later charged for this. Communication with the hotel manager only took place via SMS and telephone. There was no accommodation or agreement. After we had announced the early departure, we were repeatedly very rudely advised of the checkout time by the gentleman at the hotel. We were just happy to be able to continue our holiday in another place without too much financial loss. The hotel rooms are renovated and friendly, but the restaurant was always empty and the outdoor area does not invite you to linger. Overall, the hotel leaves the impression that you are not dependent on guests.

Nice romantic hotel by the river.

Beautiful environment by the river near Prague. Excellent restaurant. First class service and cleanliness. Relaxing seating on the hotel terrace overlooking the Vltava River. Modern new rooms. We will definitely come back.

Paradise at the bank of the Moldau.

Top - excellent service - great kitchen and food - romantic setting - owners are very helpfull and reliable. Credit cards accepted - free and safe parking - there is even an small private marina belonging tot the hotel if you travel by boat.

Wonderfull experience

Velmi doporučuji Hotel Mandát. Zde najdete skvělé podmínky pro pobyt na několik dní a zároveň si můžete vychutnat okolní přírodu. Chutné večeře, útulné pokoje a nádherný citlivý personál. Ráda bych poděkovala Libora Neumanna za jeho pohostinnost a naši skvělou náladu. Doufám, že tam zase přijedu!
