Helpful reception staff. Option for dining at either the pub or restaurant both within the building. Ample parking and close to the autobahn. Nice breakfast.

Perfect location for Czech transit from south to north - right next to the highway around Brno. Nice reception, super clean and modern rooms, comfy bed and huge rooms with a view to our car parked in the enclosed parking lot. Excellent and affordable restaurant with a very nice selection for lunch and dinner with good quality ingredients. Good breakfast buffet. No noise from the highway traffic. Just across the street a top equipped tank station and small market with everything that you need. High, high value for money!

Terrible staff

In Hotel D1 you are harassed!! There is a woman working at reception whose behaviour towards guests is totally unacceptable. Guests without reservations are chased away by her in a demeaning manner. I myself witnessed it – and at the same time also fell victim to her unprofessional and hostile demeanor.
Despite written confirmation of the agreed additional costs (26€) for my child, she completely ignored this and demanded triple. According to my booking, the stay costs per adult 50 €, but for the child even 60 €. Nevertheless, I did not receive a towel, bed linen or pillow – perhaps as a “punishment”? because I refused to put the guest bed in the room despite payment, because the toddler is sleeping with me anyway.
The receptionist even told me literally that I should not come back if I was so dissatisfied.
It was particularly shocking that the receptionist put an extra bed right outside my room door in the middle of the night, effectively locking me in the room. This behavior is not only unprofessional, but inhumane.
The next morning, this treatment continued: Instead of apologizing, the outgoing receptionist pretended it was perfectly normal to block guests from leaving. Naughty and disrespectful, she asked what my problem was with the bed – everyone could roll it away after all.
Such behaviour is absolutely shameful for a hotel that should welcome guests.

Staff is very friendly, just the AC issue. Made is very hard to sleep because it was too hot.
