As this was my fly time in Stubul was good to see another part of Portugal. Hotel was all we needed good thing they accepted dogs which was a bonus hotel very good for 2 star and staf where pleasant rooms very spacious and clean

Bad

The staff doesn’t smile, only one who smiled didn’t speak english. room is shocking AC barely works. Weird noises at night and drilling at 8 AM that woke us up. The breakfast, cold pancakes are raw but at least the butter was good. Pool is okay nothing to complain abt there. Overall i left after one night and booked a different hotel. Bed was uncomfortable. TV outdated. Cleanliness was just not it the rug looked like people were just doing it there instead of the bed. Left didn’t even care about the refund i just wanted OUT. Cleaning staff always smiling they were cute and nice. My lamp flickered every time i turned it on i thought i was gunna get electriccuted. OH also in the middle of nowhere. And i mean you go outside it’s literally the highway and the closest shop is a sex shop.

A refuge to escape stress, a peace of place

After reading a lot of negative reviews, I think that if people are looking for luxury, they should look for 5-star hotels.
Here I found in 7 days the rest I needed.
Take a rich and full breakfast (no sausages or bacon) with everything you need and enough for a good breakfast.
Read a book on the balcony to the sound of the birds, then dive in the pool and catch the sun in the loungers on the vast lawn around with palm trees and silence
When I wanted to eat, in the restaurant I could find from pizza, duck rice, cod with nuts, and other things for 11,50€ or 12,50€ nothing that a restaurant in the area would not ask you either, or order an Uber eat without any problem to eat on the terrace.
The night rest in a nice room with a beautiful bathroom all equipped, including a hairdryer.
The rooms are cleaned daily and the change of clothes every 3 days (nothing that also do not in other hotels)
A super friendly and polite staff, all attentive to the guests.
It is a place that I intend to come back more often and I highly recommend.

Staff was friendly and helpful but the room need to be refreshed. The room design was straight out of the 1980s. The bathroom was redone but main room is tired.

Stayed here just one night en route from Lisbon airport to Lagos. We had flown overnite from Canada. Very clean, a bit Spartan, but functional for a one night stop. Staff was friendly and helpful - spoke excellent English. Property was smallish, but a nice little oasis in an industrial area. Has a pool (January - we didn't use it) and a nice covered porch area. Very pleasant.
