Unique hotel of great quality.
I would like to express my most sincere gratitude to Hotel Santos and all its staff for the magnificent stay they have provided me in Guarda.
This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel and, honestly, I never tire of returning. This place has something very special: it allows you to disconnect from the daily grind, return for a few days to another era, and reconnect with yourself, without giving up at any time all the comforts and services that one could wish for. The hotel combines the charm of its history and its atmosphere linked to other times with modern comfort in every sense.
But, without a doubt, the best thing about the hotel is its human team. All the staff stand out for their professionalism, their approachability, and their kindness. From the first moment, they make you feel at home and make the experience even more special.
I would like to especially thank the service received in the dining room during breakfast. All the staff were extraordinarily kind, and I would like to make a special mention of the older lady, always attentive so that we lacked nothing and attending to every detail with a smile. Those types of gestures are what make the difference and remain in one's memory.
I live in Madrid, but this is already the third time I have traveled to Guarda, and an important part of that desire to return is this wonderful hotel. If I could, I would award it six stars instead of five, because it truly deserves them.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for these five unforgettable days and for making me feel so welcome. I hope to have the opportunity to return very soon.

A lovely friendly hotel
The thing that makes this hotel special is the staff. It appears to be a family run business which after staying at a number of cooperate hotels is a refreshing change.
The breakfast is great. The elderly lady who serves can not do enough for you. We speak no Portuguese and the lady no English but we were greeted with a lovely big smile and throughout breakfast she kept supplying us with more food, breakfast was a real pleasure.
We also ate at the wine bar a few yards from the hotel called asigual. Fabulous food with great service.
Our visit to Guarda was brilliant, will definitely be going back and definitely staying at hotel Santos
