⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Amazing Stay at NEXT Hotel Madeira

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at NEXT Hotel Madeira and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and attentive. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their excellent service made us feel genuinely valued throughout our stay.
The rooms were modern, stylish, spacious and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The hotel itself has a wonderful atmosphere and is beautifully maintained.
The location is absolutely perfect, with stunning views and easy access to Funchal, local attractions, restaurants and everything Madeira has to offer. It was an ideal base for exploring this beautiful island while also being a fantastic place to relax and unwind.
The staff, rooms and location were all exceptional, and our stay exceeded our expectations. We made some wonderful memories and would return without hesitation.
Thank you to everyone at NEXT Hotel Madeira for making our holiday so special. A truly outstanding hotel and a well-deserved five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location!

We stayed here for 4 nights at the beginning of June and simply cannot find any faults. We arrived before check-in and the staff offered to hold our bags whilst we went out and explored Funchal. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they were also very attentive with things such as offering to re-fill water bottled free of charge. I completely forgot to take photos of the room but they looked exactly as advertised, they were very well equipped and they were spotlessly clean. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel but we did order room service and everything was absolutely delicious. And if you like sushi you absolutely must try the sushi on the rooftop bar, it was the best we’ve ever had! Especially when it was accompanied by such a beautiful view. We loved it so much we cancelled our dinner reservations on our third night and went back to the rooftop bar instead. The cocktails were also lovely, they even had an option to chose the ingredients for your own custom cocktail which I thought was very unique.
The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect, it’s about a 20 minute walk into the centre of Funchal or approximately €3-5 in a Bolt. The walk into town is very pleasant, it is past the harbour and the seafront where there are plenty of shops and restaurants.
Overall we would absolutely recommend this hotel and we hope to stay here again when we next visit Madeira.

Amazing

There arent enough words to express how wonderful this hotel and it's staff is!
The hotel is wonderful and its facilities amazing, from the rooftop bar to the beach and swimming pool area with its restaurant. Next to the ocean with great view and very well located to walk to the city center.
The staff deserve also a classification on their own, 6 stars! We did have a different room than the one expected and their dedication to solve it promptly and exchange us the room was superb. All of them were just brilliant. Confess it was way over what we expected and hope to return next time we are in Madeira!
The only thing worth mentioning was the glass on the bathroom wall always lighted the room and would wake anyone with lightsleep. Anyway we still think its a 5 star hotel!

Decent Stay, but Several Areas Need Improvement

We stayed at NEXT Savoy Signature Funchal for 4 nights and booked a 2-bedroom apartment.
The apartment itself was decent, but it was located in a separate building next to the main hotel. Our apartment was on the 5th floor, and there was no straightforward access, which made getting in and out quite difficult, especially with luggage.
Breakfast was okay, but nothing special and not quite what we expected from a hotel like this. The parking layout was also very tight and poorly structured. Unfortunately, someone hit our rental car while it was parked there, which resulted in us having to deal with the rental car deposit/damage charges.
On the positive side, the hotel gives a €25 daily voucher to spend at the hotel, which was a really nice benefit and something we appreciated.
Housekeeping could definitely be improved. On some days, the towels weren't replaced, and we felt the apartment wasn't cleaned properly.
Overall, it was an okay experience. There are some good aspects, particularly the daily voucher, but considering the access to the apartment, parking situation, average breakfast and inconsistent housekeeping, we expected a better stay.

Our vacation at next hotel

We are staying at this hotel for a week and are leaving tomorrow. I deliberated for a long time where to stay, and after we drove around the whole island, I realized that we did the right thing by staying here. We were in Madeira for the first time. In this regard, it is convenient to stay in the center of events and close to all offered excursions. The hotel is newly built and very technological. Our room number is 801. The cleaning is first-class. The staff is very friendly, as is the entire population of the island. The atmosphere is conducive to relaxation. City center within walking distance. The breakfasts are tasty. The coffee in the machines is not very good, but we drank tea and had coffee in the city. Very tasty bread of different kinds, fruits, vegetables, in general, everything. The pool is beautiful, the towel is sufficient, the only downside is that dry trash from the palms was collected in the sea. We were swimming towards the neighboring hotel. This evening we had dinner at the restaurant at the hotel. Everything was very tasty and aesthetic, which we appreciate in food. I can't rate the bar on the top floor because we haven't looked there yet) I can recommend this hotel to everyone!
