Amazing Madeirarooms

We visited Madeirarooms for a few days break. The hotel is ideally situated in the centre just a short walk to seafront and restaurants. The Manager Francesco was extremely helpful, accommodating and made us feel very welcome - nothing was too much trouble. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, it equipped with a great shower which was warm and powerful. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend and would love to return.

RUN AWAY!

If you are looking for reviews to decide to book this accommodation, I dispel your doubts: DON'T DO IT!
The whole establishment smells very damp, the rooms even more, which is harmful to health. The mattress in our room, the 5th, was completely sunk, we have spent 3 nights barely without sleep.
Insulation and soundproofing are non-existent. In the description of the room it says: “soundproof walls” what a scam, it is completely false. The problem is not that it is in the “center” of Funchal, as the owner says.
It is not that you hear everything from the outside, that you hear it, but also that you hear other guests, even when they go to the bathroom, it is shameful.
In addition, one of the windows does not close, resulting in a considerable lack of security, considering that the window is just over 2 meters from the ground.
In the bathroom there is a window to vent that is always open, how can you not hear the outside?
Hot water is VERY SCARCE. It doesn't take a long shower to run out of water, as they say. It's very frustrating to get out all day and not be able to take a quiet shower.
And finally, the final finish, in the conditions says that “the towels will be changed every three days”, but be warned, that really means that they will not clean the room until the fourth day of the stay. They don't even clean.
Anyway, a mess, misleading information and a place that reeks of damp with a completely sunken, old mattress.

Excellent value accommodation in Funchal!

We had a great stay here - helpful staff, clean and bright room, excellent location within easy walking distance to sea and to restaurants/bars etc in town. Really great value for money - highly recommended!

Convenient and central

Very central, essential and comfortable structure. In small spaces you can take advantage of various services: fridge, TV, private bathroom. If you choose the apartment, you also have a kitchenette, washing machine and microwave. the management is very warm, typical Italian welcome. The manager is Italian and is available to help with advice and suggestions on what to do. Very recommended for those who prefer centrality.

Fabulous

We just got back from this wonderful island . Madeira rooms was perfect for our vacation and the whole staff helped us to have an Amazing experience every single day. They took care of us and they genuinely gave us tips and suggestions about what to do in Madeira. The location is perfect to visit the heart of the town and the room was super clean everyday . Thanks A lot guys
