Quiet business week

A bit far from everything, restaurants and commerce, but a short car journey solves it. Very simple rooms but clean. Toilet needs to be updated. Attentive and considerate staff. Breakfast with good quality but without much variety. A good hotel to rest.

Where is the breakfast???

A very helpful and friendly solo employee for breakfast and reception, the 9h40 table of eggs pastels etc completely empty and no one to serve us (workers in the kitchen to unfold if in three)

Bad food. Mold in the bathtub. And a waitress put her hand on my shoulder for sitting at a table that wasn't mine in bad ways. It's called Silvia.

In the "boonies"

It's a place you need to travel by car or be brought there for business , otherwise you end up the middle of nothing. The name should rather be "Deco-Hotel" , but this might be a language problem (not just portugese) to understand what's design and what's decoration. The breakfast is served in huge conference room which (looking toward the inside has something of a bunker, looking outside is much better, looking at grass and trees. The breakfast-buffet is good , the coffee so " la la" (depends from what country you're coming ), the rooms are nice and clean , the personal a bit "closed" but friendly. The selection of TV-channels rather local, a list where to find non-portugese channels is not existing . Taken out for dinner from my client I had no chance to try their evening buffets......

Excellent location and suitable for families

It's a nice hotel, very well located for all the attarctions nearby, from Oporto to Amarante...the area is ideal for families with kids and adults wanting to see a variety of things. I loved the fact that they actually listened to my requests when booking. Lovely front desk staff!!
