Lots of odd features and attractions!

We didn't stay overnight, but rather stopped for coffee and a quick look-about. The place was mostly closed off, but one part of the hotel was still operating for a few customers. They also have a separate restaurant and coffee shop. The most interesting aspects were the huge logs used in the construction, along with thatched roof. Also some strange features like an old windmill -- I guess to attract customers to pull in for photos and spend a bit of money.

Meal on the way

We stopped here to have local and price reasonable food. So we ordered home made dumplings (pierogi), gazpacho soup (chlodnik).
Good quality rather average and prices far too high.
For plate of dumplings we paid 75PLN and gazpacho soup 18PLN, prices comparable to Warsaw or other big cities in Poland.
Service was good but maybe too direct and intrusive.
Next time will take sandwiches and tea with me;)
I was there first and last time.

Enchanting architecture, good coffee stop.

This was a coffee stop between Warsaw and Jasna Gora Monastery. The architecture is unique, and also puzzling....why a Dutch windmill and English thatched roof, with log construction they say patterned after Karst architecture? Nevertheless, a unique place worth a visit.

Thatched Roof Building

This hotel is where we stopped for a bathroom and snack break as we were en-route through the Tatra Mountains . The interior is quite unique with bridges, an old-fashioned oven (looked like it was used for pizza), a boat, separate dining areas, waterfall, a model of the complex, pools of water with fish, and a wooden tree. The roof of the building is thatched. I cannot attest to the rooms because we were only there for a brief stop. Well-worth a visit to see the interior.

Comfortable hotel for transit

Comfortable private parking. Bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good. The toilet was smelly and not clean. Wifi signal was very very weak. The sound insulation was very poor therefore could not rest.
