Stairs and more stairs

Basic hotel but with a great position next to the train station. Great for the morning train to Ukraine which is why we use it a few times a year.
Reasonable sized but basic en-suite room that is very dated but useable.
Three flights of stairs under very high ceilings does not help with luggage as there is no lift!
50 Euro a night cost and staff who struggle with English. Will be back next week on our way back.

Position

This hotel is all about position for the Train Station. It is just over the road and is by far the best place for easy access.
The downside is the lack of comfort and basic small rooms. Add on the fact it has no elevator and lugging heavy cases can be gruesome after a long day's travel.
Friendly staff but be wary if booking through booking.com their system has been hacked and scammers may send you demands for money you do not owe etc.

Horrible people who don’t care

I got stuck as I had missed the last train out, walked to the hotel and asked if they had any rooms, they said the had rooms but not for solo travellers, I offered to pay the going rate but was told NO, ended up having to sleep on the station floor until the next morning

Okay for one night

I stayed at this hotel twice in two weeks. It is very close to the train station and is okay for one night. My first stay was very positive. The rooms are small but everything was clean. Unfortunately not so on my second visit. The shower drain had hair in it and there was still a used soap in the shower. Okay for one night, but not for more. The breakfast is unfortunately also very rudimentary and not necessarily recommended.

Stairs and more stairs.

Old fashioned hotel with very high ceilings and no lift.
The two floors we were up felt more like four floors when we walked up them.
Close to the train station and thriving from the business to and from Ukraine it is perfect for us and we use it as such.
It is very basic no thrills inside and I'm told it does an edible breakfast, but we always catch the early train so have never tried it.
