good

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Festival! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious with a great variety of fresh products. The spa area and pool were a perfect place to relax after a long day. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back again!

Clean and quiet in the room

Our room was spacious and quiet. Clean room and bathroom. The beds are very comfortable, you can sleep well. As described in the room, there is a kettle, coffee and tea, as well as a small bottle of water. It's nice to enter the room.
A big minus is the lack of an elevator from the outside to the reception and restaurant levels. There is an elevator, but it's far away, at the back, and you have to walk around the entire hotel, so it's easier to take the stairs.

Never ever

Ok we arrived at 12 pm and I had no choice to switch any other room and therefore I had a crazy night. The room was too noisy. The windows to the street couldn't be closed right, bed too small and really not comfortable
This hotel I will never recommend to somebody

Great Staff and Good Food!

I spent 2 nights at the Festival Hotel. It was recommended by a colleague as one of the better hotels in the area. There was only one other and it was full. From the look of the parking lot, this one was full, too.
In the USA, this hotel would be equivalent to Motel 6. First, you should know that to enter the hotel, you have to climb a set of steps. I did not see a ramp for rolling the luggage and my colleague offered to have the cabbie take my luggage up my steps for me, but I managed. The staff was very welcoming, greeted with a smile and minimal English. Their English was good enough for me to communicate and I was glad of that as I spoke absolutely no Polish and understood even less. I appreciate their efforts, after all, I'm visiting their country.
Rooms were clean and my bed was a double. The cover (we would call it a comforter) on the bed was suited for a twin sized bed so they used two, one on each half of the bed. The cover was wide enough that if I opened the two pieces, it would cover the entire Full Size bed. The spread or top cover was full size and not an issue for me. The windows opened which was a good thing because housekeeping apparently sprayed the room with a deodorizer that was much too strong. It had an 'overly sweet antiseptic' smell so I aired the room out. Another Reviewer mentioned this same thing and the hotel should really consider stop using it. The bathroom was small with a small shower but sufficed for my 2 night visit. the water was warm enough. Two bottles of complimentary water was in the room.
Wireless internet did not work in my room, even with the pass-code. You can get wireless access in the lobby and the restaurant with no problem. The young man at the front desk gave me a cable for the internet and once I located the outlet (on the baseboard by the desk), I was able to get internet access in my room. I saw another guest returning a cable as I was checking out so WiFi issues might exist in other rooms.
For me, the food was the best part of my stay. The menu was in English as well as Polish and some other language. The Maitre'd was attentive and the meal looked as good as it tasted. I did not eat breakfast even though it was included in my room cost so I can't speak to it.
The hotel offers massages, saunas and other services as well. I did not indulge and cannot comment on these either. I do not drive in foreign countries so I don't know if there was a parking fee or not but she did inquire at checking if I was driving. The parking lot was full. Based on the attire I saw, it seemed like some were headed to the Olympics.
I would stay/recommend this hotel to anyone who is in the Opole area for a limited stay (1 to 2 nights).
