Loved this Hotel

Absolutely love this hotel. Totally zero warm welcome functional check in experience but who cares, the room was absolutely stunning. Plenty of storage, ultra comfortable super-sized bed and a massive luxurious bathroom with separate toilet. It’s always nice to be anonymous in a hotel and this was the case here. No one cares who you are or where you’ve been. This is a low frills hotel with high rewards. I would very happily stay here again when next in Gdańsk. I wish all hotels were like this; here’s the key the room is upstairs! The thing is you will absolutely LOVE the room.

Location in Gdansk can't be better

The hotel is really in the best place. Out the door and there's everything you need. We stayed at the hotel for three nights and our room was a corner room which meant three windows in two different directions facing the river. We stood sometimes and just looked out over the river, the restaurants and all the people. The bed was pretty hard, the bedding comfortable. It can be added that it is a double duvet that you share with your bedfellow. Tasteful interior that felt newly renovated. The bathroom was fresh and spacious with ceiling shower and hand shower. However, our friends had in the room next to a bathtub without shower curtain which they thought was a bit complicated. Shower paraphernalia such as soap and shampoo were available. Easy to darken the room and it was quite silent in there even though there was a lot of noise outside. We realized that the bridge outside the hotel is a swing bridge and when it opens for "turning" a pretty strong alarm signal sounds. The first time we wondered if it had to do with the hotel, like fire alarms. Available microwave, iron/ironing board, refrigerator, coffee machine and hairdryer. The hotel is next door to the Whiskey in the Jar restaurant, which serves world-class meat. It would have been full marks if the receptionists had not been so disengaged which they really were.

Misleading Room Photos & Poor Compensation – Disappointed

I booked a room at this hotel because the photos clearly showed a bathtub — which was important to me. When I arrived, the room did not have a bathtub, and I was told it was "optional" — something never mentioned during booking.
I ended up paying $55 USD extra at the front desk to upgrade and get the room I expected. The hotel manager was contacted twice during my stay but was unwilling to help or provide a solution.
After my stay, I reported the issue to Radisson customer service. Over a month later, the hotel manager reached out and apologized, but without asking how I wanted to be compensated, he just sent me 20,000 Radisson Rewards points — without my consent or discussion.
Since then, I’ve tried to contact him twice more, asking for a proper refund instead of points, and have not received a single reply.
This entire situation was caused by misleading room descriptions, poor in-hotel support, and a lack of follow-through. Offering points instead of a real refund is not acceptable when the problem came from the hotel’s mistake.
I expected better from a Radisson-branded property. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel and will not return.

Absolutely amazing stay and brilliant service by Julia, both my wife and I along with her parents were very pleasantly surprised by the amazing and professional service provided by Julia. Overall great location and very interesting rooms.

Never again Radison RED

The door to the room is broken. The reception said we have to wait 2 days for the repair, and we are leaving in 1.5 days. They do not want to provide a substitute room. It's a tragedy. Ruined vacation by Radisson RED.
