Cost&Benefit

Location was perfect. They have free parking lot. It is a bit limited but at least they have it. Everywhere is walking distance. The people are super kind and helpful. The room is very nice for business travellers. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom and clean room. The only problem is the WiFi. In the room the reception is very poor. It must be improved.

DISAPPOINTMENT

Hotel is off the beaten path, few restaurants nearby.
Restaurant closed the afternoon of our arrival.
Staff not very welcoming.
A long staircase to climb with suitcases while the staff watched. Unacceptable.
Large comfortable room, but uncomfortable mattress. The poorly insulated room facing the darkness.
Disappointing breakfast, coffee machine broken, chaotic situation.
Unresponsive staff, no apology.
Small pieces of cake and cookies...
Otherwise some cold cuts and a little cheese.
Yogurts counted. Absent the second day, have to ask for them.
High and unjustified price.

Ok for a short stay

The hotel seems to have been recently decorated- albeit kept in the Venetian carnival style- and offers relatively large rooms and comfortable sitting area (at least in some rooms). There is a very effective air condition, and a quiet atmosphere during the night. The receptionist was friendly and greeted me warmly upon arrival. The location is 30 minutes walk from the Jasna Góra Monastery, but it is through the city and mostly flat so it was no bother to me.
The sleeping quality is however a bit so-and-so, the beds are very uncomfortable and the pillows give no support what so ever. I did not arrive by car, but the parking space seemed very narrow and I would not like to struggle my car into the tight space. But what I disliked most about the hotel was actually the breakfast, I didn`t expect anything special but was met by empty bread baskets and cold cut trays which was not refilled at all even though breakfast should have been available 1 additional hour. There was a frying pan, butter and ham set up, assumingly for cooking scrambled eggs or omelets, but this service was not offered. Finally I suspect that the neighborhood was not the best, there were many people around which seemed to be homeless/alcoholics, and I was stopped outside the hotel entrance by a man speaking in broken Polish- presumably wanting money. His eyes were wild and I did not feel safe. But compared to other hotels in the area it is reasonably cheap, and it was ok for a day or two.

A good hotel in a good location

It is not a modern luxury holet. But for a stay in the form of a business trip or another type of vacation, it is really good. It has its own parking lot in the yard, but it is usually full. You have to reserve a place in advance. The hotel has several apartments, they are larger than standard rooms. The equipment is comfortable and tasteful. A small reception with a bar and smiling staff provides everything you need.

Avoid, book other place.

1 night stay. Cold heater, low tempreaure in the room but scalding water in pipes. Brown water... Thanks God that there was bottle water in the room as I would not be able to brush my teeth. Big LCD TV not even plugged in so Cant use it. Avoid, not money worth. Bed squeeky and very noisy even for 1 night.
