Nice facility, quiet location.

This is a decent hotel for the price. Large spacious rooms with balcony, King size firm but comfortable beds, strong air conditioning. Pool is the perfect temperature to just cool you down. Staff are very kind and helpful. The only downside for us was that it was a little way off the main tourist strip, which meant an extra 10-15 minutes walk each time you wanted to go out. The positive of this, is that it is very quiet, except for the properties surrounding it. The tuktuk drivers all want 100-150p each way, for what should be less than 50p. It's not big money, but still 2-3X what you should pay. We ended up using Grab to get around which was much better.

Sparkling clean hotel!

Stayed there for 4 nights. Loved the spacious room with good lighting (facing the pool). This is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in my life. The rooms, the hallways, the stairs, the pool area, … you coudn’t find a piece of leaf or a bit of dirt, it was maticouldsy sparkling. They changed the sheets after 2 nights and towels were replaced everyday.
The breakfast options from the menu is good, I loved the banana pancake.
Smooth operation with arranging airport pickups, arranging tours, ….
Thank you staff of front desk, restaurant, housekeeping, security, …
The location is 5-7mins walk to the Main Street of Alona Beach. As solo female traveler, I felt safe to walk. When it is rainy, avoiding the puddles could be challenging :)
I only wished their restaurant would have had service for dinner in case you feel like staying in and eating at the hotel.

A great choice

We liked being there, it was 9 nights, couple with a little 3 years old. The nights are peaceful, the staffs are all friendly and ready to help, breakfast we love and love the fact that it starts at 7am-15am which makes it easier when you have a child. Beautiful and calm. The hotel is very close to the restaurants and bars, just walk a little. Not too far also from the local beach.

Unsafe

I encountered two significant issues during my stay, with the most concerning being the safety of the 250-300 meter road between the hotel and the main road. 1ST ISSUE: The road was narrow, bordered by barbed wire, muddy, slippery, poorly lit, and extremely hazardous. This caused several accidents: my eldest son slipped in the mud and narrowly avoided hitting his face on the barbed wire, my youngest son fell into the mud and sustained a cut on his right knee, and I also slipped, damaging my wallet. When we arrived at the reception covered in mud, I requested to speak with a manager, but no one addressed the issue throughout our stay, even until checkout, which was deeply disappointing. I questioned the reception staff about why this road problem was not disclosed on Agoda’s website to warn guests beforehand, as I am 1000% sure no one would book the hotel if they saw the road conditions. Please refer to the attached road pictures for reference. 2ND ISSUE - I reserved and paid for a van a day before our departure to take us from the hotel to the pier. However, on the day of departure, I was surprised to see that an L300 truck was sent instead. I immediately raised the issue, pointing out that I had specifically booked and paid for a van, not an L300 truck. During our arrival, a proper van (Grandia) was provided, so I am certain the staff understands the difference. I usually do not complain, and to be honest, this is my first complaint so far. However, I felt compelled to raise this issue because it seemed that as locals, we were treated differently, even though we paid the same rates as foreigners. This experience left me feeling as though we were being looked down upon despite paying the same rates. Agoda, you should thoroughly check the road conditions before allowing hotels to advertise on your platform. It is highly disappointing and degrading to see such a horrible and unsafe road associated with a property listed on your website. This reflects poorly on your standards and undermines the trust of your customers. To make matters worse, the hotel refuses to take responsibility for the road conditions and instead shifts the burden onto their guests by charging them for alternative solutions. This is unacceptable and needs to be addressed.

Best value for money in Bohol! Hidden gem!

This is by far the best value for money in Panglao. Beautiful and very clean Resort Hotel with a fantastic swimming pool. The owner couple is taking extremely well care of the place and their guests and it was simply a great pleasure to stay there. It was so nice that we extended for one week. The food is amazing, all is very fresh and there is no comparable better option in this price segment. We will come back always again.
