Nice holiday

Beautiful hotel by the beautiful beach. The room was large and cozy, we were warmly welcomed at the reception. There is a pool and a spa downstairs. Everyone chose their own breakfast. We were satisfied and thank you for the stay

A very very disappointing experience at this hotel.

This hotel is well located in Boracay, but it is in need of a massive upgrade. The rooms are very dated and our first room was not cleaned properly and even when we moved rooms, this was not cleaned properly either. There was only one handle on the front door even though there were holes for two handles, the breakfast area wasn't very well maintained during service resulting in things being left on the floor which made it look dirty. The seats in the breakfast area were very very worn and just looked shabby. There were also beds left in the corridors in front of fire hydrants. Despite the Manager telling me that they had only been left there whilst the rooms were being cleaned, they were never removed.

Dirty Old Golden Phoenix Boracay

Dirty hotel in Boracay. I won’t recommend the place. Residents can’t even have an elevator available. The place is old and needs repair.

Golden Phoenix...did not rise to the ocassion.

Was assigned on the 4th floor. The hallways are gloomy. Overall, the photos are really not up to date. So please check reviews and photos uploaded by customers.
Water pressure was very weak, the tiles and glass panels are not well kept. The wifi is terrible and your mobile won't be of much help due to how the hotel was built, the steucture and location is not of the strongest cellular points of the island.
The hotel staff will greet you at their own whim and the breakfast buffet may be consodered a joke, specially to a foreigner guest. Not the best deal for your money.

Room was ok for the price. Nice big bathroom. Terrible view. Hotel grounds a little dated but very clean. Staff was more than helpful and courteous. Bartenders were excellent. I made some good friends with the staff.
