Too many issues

Hotel is in a Good location- away from the centre and easy to find if driving and a big car park. To the centre is around 200 php in a taxi.
Room was a good size, comfy bed, balcony and fridge. The hotel seemed clean but the carpets on the stairs badly needs replacing. Downsides- rooms with balcony face a very noisy main road. Even with ear plugs you could hear traffic through the night. Also the water pressure was terrible. Shower was a dribble and we had to resort to using a bucket filled from the tap. WiFi was poor in room, kept dropping out. We paid around $40 which was too much for the standard of the room.

Stay Away

We booked this online and paid immediately in full . Since their lift is only up to the 2nd floor and we need wheelchair access, we requested for a room on the 2nd floor. The staff we talked to, ( name i will withhold ) assured us that this request has been granted and that she already plave the room under our reservation. I asked for a written confirmation and even sent a pdf document for them to sign just so we have a paper trail. BUT no reply. On the check-in day, I even texted the hotel at 4pm to tell them that we are just having a late lunch and would check in after the meal.
When we got to the hotel and were about to check in, same girl informed us that the guest checked in to the room prior to our date extended her stay. Much to our dismay they allowed the guest to extend in the ROOM that we already fully paid for!!! They were giving us 2 rooms in the ground floor BUT that is still not what we paid for. We insisted on a full refund and it's a good thing, Agoda agreed to this. I also voiced this incident to the Agoda customer service agent. I would NOT give this establishment any star if allowed ! BAD experience, very unprofessional.
We decided check in elsewhere as it was already 6pm. Found a better hotel, checked in as walk in guests.

A little disappointed

The place needs updating. Photos on Agoda are misleading, making the place look newer than reality. One room offered was below the first floor and was not acceptable with an unpleasant odor. We had to upgrade to get a decent room upstairs. No air conditioning.

Stay away from this hotel

This hotel tries to capture customers with a "basic" room not telling them that this room is in the cellar with a "window" to the hotel construction. Once arrived they came to me a ask " sir do you really want this room". They showed and of course offer an upgrade of 1400 Pesos ( Sir we are fully booked - but there was nobody ). We got his room with run down mattresses, freezing cold, molded shower and cealings. Stay away from this hotel. They cheat you. There is a newly build hotel just 200 m away with cheaper and better rooms.

Bad Experience - book at your own risk

Our experience with this property has been nothing but disappointing. There's a reason why this property is rated 1 star only in Agoda. Had to find that out the hard way.
No electricity when we arrived - contrary to what the property staff claims, WE had to ask (we were not informed initially) why the lights or tv was not working. In this day and age, you would think properties will have generators in case of power outage etc. but this one is an exception.
Unprofessional/unfriendly staff - The way we were treated felt like we were inconveniencing them. The staff seemed too busy to be bothered, will lie to your face and doesn't seem to want to help.
Noisy - Good view BUT you can hear the noise from vehicles passing by even if the door from the balcony is completely shut.
No elevator - for people with kids or elderly be ready to use the stairs because there is no other way up/down.
Weak wi-fi signal
Location is not ideal either as it is outside the city proper.
Their only redeeming factor is their parking area and the seemingly nostalgic design for a lobby. Other than that, this place is the worst. When we requested for a refund, they still charged us for the 2 hours that we stayed in the room saying that we "fully utilized" it despite the fact that there's really nothing to utilize since THERE WAS NO ELECTRICITY at the time.
I do not recommend this property and will continue to tell anyone I know of this experience.
