Spacious Rooms and Great Breakfast, but a Few Areas Need Improvement

We stayed at Azalea Residences during our trip to Baguio and found it to be a good option, especially for families. Our Superior Room was spacious and felt more like a studio apartment, with a pull-out couch, kitchenette, and small dining area.
The kitchenette was stocked with plates, utensils, glasses, and other basic items. The room also came with shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, and toothbrushes. Although the hotel doesn’t have air conditioning, it wasn’t an issue because Baguio’s weather was cool. The ceiling fan and portable fan kept the room comfortable.
One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast buffet at Kuya J. There was a good variety of food each morning, and we looked forward to it every day.
There were a few things that could be improved. The bathrooms are beginning to show their age, and we noticed moldy grout in some areas. The foot towels were clean but looked worn and discolored. It would also have been helpful if the kitchenette included a sponge, dishwashing liquid, and paper towels.
Our room’s only window faced the interior hallway instead of outside, so we could hear people talking as they walked by. If you’re a light sleeper, you may want to request a room facing the outside of the building.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The spacious rooms and excellent breakfast were the highlights, while the dated bathrooms and hallway-facing room kept it from being a higher rating.

A general good experience

Location is located close to the city center and the major tourist spots in Baguio. Hotel staff were all very helpful and nice. The rooms were clean. However, they were outdated and need to have some upgrades done especially to the bathrooms. Do be mindful that the hotel DOES NOT have air conditioning. This hotel is great for people who are on a budget or with families. Over good experience and relatively affordable prices.

Did not meet my expectations. Guest’s service agents had poor service, as well as kuya J restaurant staffs for ala cart. Service staffs during breakfast buffet was great and i mostly appreciate the house keeping staffs, they are more accommodating compared to the front staffs.
