Food was sumptious. Room was clean and well maintained. Noise was minimal. Front desk and crew were approachable.

Amazing Ambience
The hotel has a zen and serene vibe, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. love the plants and flowers around the hotel, they make the place even more beautiful. The food is really good too, and the receptionists are super friendly and accommodating especially therese and also to the tall girl. Overall, we had a really nice and comfortable stay. Definitely a place I’d recommend!

A gem of the Philippines
Sugarland truly is a gem! flew all the way to the Philippines to visit my wife and spend time with our family, and she made the perfect choice in choosing this hotel.
From the moment we arrived, we experienced genuine Filipino warmth and hospitality from the staff. Our room was clean, and comfortable, and the food was absolutely delicious. A special thank you to the lady at the desk Dane, who definitely made our stay special. On our second night I requested a room closer to my family, and she quickly arranged for our rooms to be closer together so we could stay near each other. The entire conversation with her was very smooth. She was eloquent and genuinely kind. She even volunteered to take a family photo for us, a simple gesture that became a wonderful memory of our trip. The warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality we experienced from all the hotel staff made us feel right at home. My family and I honestly had an incredible stay. Everything went beyond our expectations, and the entire experience was truly remarkable. From the delicious food and beautiful, comfortable rooms to the outstanding service and genuine Filipino hospitality, there was so much to appreciate. The Philippines has always been special to us, but experiences like this make us appreciate and love the country even more. We will definitely be coming back to Sugarland on our next visit.

The best hotel in Bacolod
My family has loved Sugarland Hotel for years, and we’ve always celebrated our special events there. No one can beat Sugarland Hotel when it comes to food. It’s still truly top-tier. No wonder every event and party becomes memorable and successful. I’ve always loved their rooms, too. They’re so homey, stylish, and comfortable. I was also so happy to see Therese and Dane again at the reception. These two amazing ladies were the only ones who were very accommodating and friendly to us during our batch Christmas party back in December 2024. And now, almost two years later, when I came back, they’re still the same sweet, humble ladies. Sugarland Hotel has always been one of the best and a true legend in Bacolod.

Loved the stay so much that you left wishing you could have booked it for a longer duration.
Our stay at Sugar Land was absolutely wonderful, but it was Dani who truly made our experience unforgettable with her exceptional, standout hospitality. While everyone was welcoming—including Krhyza, who was also incredibly accommodating—Dani went above and beyond to make us feel at home, prompting us to wish we could have extended our stay much longer. We are already looking forward to returning to Sugar Land, largely thanks to the phenomenal service and warmth Dani provided throughout our visit! We stayed at room 222. The room is very beautiful! Perfect
