fun, super and enjoy when you're at the top.

Super. The idea of an all you can eat. The experience of having a different view time and time again has pleased us. The food against it was certainly usefully wrong. Worth going there more often.

High altitude, but not (yet) a high flyer

This building and grounds need love.
At its core, Infinity Zwolle, the former Copper Heights, remains a special object. The location, the altitude, the view and the revolving restaurant still have something unique. That is precisely why I found my visit disappointing.
In many places, the building feels as if it has been partly refurbished, but not completely repackaged. Some parts of the interior look renewed, while others feel outdated. Also on the outside and around the building you see details that do not match the appearance this place could have. This creates a somewhat messy impression: potentially special, but just not in execution.
We had made a reservation at 8 pm, but could not arrive until around 8.30 pm due to circumstances. That is, of course, our responsibility. That's why I called beforehand to ask if food was still possible. The reaction was meant to be friendly, but it seemed especially discouraging to me. It was indicated that if we wanted to “eat our fill”, we should not come anymore. I found that a strange approach, because I don’t come to such a restaurant to eat myself full, but for a pleasant evening and a special experience.
The kitchen was supposed to close at 10:00, so I was willing to take that chance. To put it in the words of Infinity itself: by 9 pm I was already crammed. Then I honestly wonder what the average guest eats when they think it was no longer feasible, but that aside.
Upon arrival at the restaurant, that feeling unfortunately did not get better. The first thing we were told was that we were late. Not once, but twice: first at the reception and later again upon entering the restaurant itself. That just felt rude. You can also say: “You’re a bit late, take a seat quickly.” After all, I had called in advance to let them know that we would be late. That is precisely why I expected that internally it was coordinated whether our arrival was still a good fit. The reception felt anything but welcoming.
I could have handled it just fine if it had been said: “You have made a reservation at 20:00. If you don’t arrive until 8.25pm, unfortunately we can no longer offer a good experience.” Then I would have understood, kindly apologized and looked for something else.
This restaurant doesn't work with a down payment, but if it had, I would have passed it up. After all, the later time was my fault. At the same time, I keep finding it strange that you can book online until 8 p.m., but that 8.25 p.m. apparently already crosses a border. To be honest, I think that's pretty tight.
The revolving restaurant once had a certain allure. That potential is still there, but the execution doesn't fit that in my opinion. The food was okay on its own, but the way of serving felt very simple. Plates were signposted rather than served neatly and when clearing we had to move cutlery ourselves. That doesn’t have to be a disaster in itself, but it does clash with the expectation you have when dining at high altitude in such an iconic building.
For me, that’s where the biggest problem lies: the concept and the location don’t feel completely balanced. The place demands experience, tranquility, hospitality and attention to detail. What I experienced felt more like an accessible all-in restaurant in a building that still tries to exude something of grandeur. That didn't match for me.
I certainly believe the new owners are doing their best and I really want the building to come back to life. But at this point, it felt to me like a lot is still needed to really live up to the promise of this place.
For me, unfortunately, it was not an experience I would come back for.
In conclusion, this is perhaps the best conclusion:
Infinity's biggest problem is the management of expectations. The dated building promises a fine dining experience at a high level, but the operation opts for a more accessible, faster concept. When those two things chafe, the guest gets an uncomfortable feeling.

Nice hotel! A place to come back!

+ spacious, clean room, big bed!
+ towels, bathrobes and soap (Rituals) smell delicious.
+ restaurant on 14th floor recommended! Delicious dishes of your choice!
+ Breakfast is served in the room. Fine choice yourself, quantity is more than sufficient
+ elevator is nice experience.
+ ample parking space and centrally located.
- lighting at the armchairs in the room is missing.
- Bath not convenient when restricted due to high edge!
- heating with air conditioning device makes a lot of noise.
- no window that can open

Good but freezing cold

It is a beautiful hotel and the food was delicious. Also the rooms were very spacious and nice.
Her is just very strange that we had to pay 150 euros deposit. I've never experienced that in a hotel. There was also a note in certain places in the hotel room about how much it costs if it breaks. The most annoying thing was that it was stone cold inside the hotel. Not a single radiator in the hallway. Really not normally so cold!
The room had to be heated with an air conditioner but of course that doesn't work as well as a radiator. Extra blankets were not available according to the reception. Actually, it was very striking that they do everything they can to save a lot of costs. We would like to go back sometime but in the summer.

Not fully open. Not advised on the app. Therefore breakfast is served at a later hour and to the room with not many options.
2 days I had no water to shower or brush my teeth in the morning, no warning offered by the hotel. They keep a diposit. Also not advised in the app, don’t appreciate that.
It’s a great concep hotel and food at the restaurant was good.
Nothing is in any other language other than local.
Wish it was managed differently.
