Beautiful hotel and top service

We stayed 1 night with a diverse family. This is to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the meter and godfather. We had let the hotel know in advance. Of its own accord, the hotel had placed our four rooms side by side. This was nice. In the room of the birthday boys was a nice surprise and it was nicely decorated. Very nice! During dinner in the evening we were surprised again at dessert. Here the hotel came again of its own accord with a surprise for both birthdays. Thank you very much for this.
At night, our 5-year-old daughter suddenly got stomach flu and threw up in her bed. When we let them know at the desk someone immediately came from the hotel to our room with fresh sheets. She helped change the bed and was very kind to our daughter. On top of that, the staff gave her a hug from the hotel to comfort her. This is her new favorite hug.
Really a top experience!!!

What a disappointment

What a disappointment
Room service charge of €15. Tap water for €4. On the Thursday when I arrived, there was no more than 8 people in the restaurant, but somehow I still managed to wait 20 minutes for any form of service while I watch the staff take on menial tasks while never making eye contact.
The beds are incredibly uncomfortable. No iron in the room. Only have espresso cups while having a selection teas. The coffee pods are disgusting. Pillows wildly uncomfortable. I have severe back pain now after a few nights in these uncomfortable beds.
The toilets in the main lobby were all disgusting - no-one is checking over them to ensure they are clean.
You pay a premium price over other hotels, you really expect that these things are above standard while they were really below standard.
Food at the restaurant was poor also.
Big credit to our waiter Dan on the Monday when we left though - he was fantastic and the only good thing about the hotel that I can recall.

€ 7,50 for 20 min parking!!

It sucks. For my work as a driver I made a big trip through the Netherlands, I end up in Tilburg with 75km range. So I ff loading at vd Valk. Surprised by the loading speed, I had another 150km after 20 minutes. Enough to get home. But those 20 minutes were expensively paid when I also had to pay € 7.50 at the parking meter to get away. Where I can get in and out at vd Valk Eindhoven without parking costs, they squeeze out the hardworking man here. And given other similar reviews, I'm not the only one. So I don't come here to load anymore. Too bad this!

Too bad, though...
Lunchtime. Eating a bouncer at Van der Valk's and on again. Drawn a parking ticket and ate simple but good bouncers. So paid and waved the parking ticket and on again. At the barrier the parking ticket wriggled into the machine and...... pay € 7.50? Is that a new revenue model from Van der Valk? The intercom is broken so checking if this is correct is also not possible with two honking cars behind you. So, yeah, too bad.
