It lacks more personality and atmosphere for a Marriott!

My experience in general was good at this hotel, highlighting the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the room, and good service in the dining room for breakfast, all impeccably provided with variety, cleanliness, and constant replenishment of food, which was always full, and in this, the Marriott chain does stand out for its excellent variety and quality!
The beds and pillows were very comfortable, creating a good stay with a good rest!
I also highlight the generosity regarding the check-out time being at 12 pm, which is a good time.
However, I was disconcerted by the lack of maintenance inside the rooms, as well as the bathrooms, which are very basic for this chain. Also, the hotel in general turns out to be a bit gloomy and sad; it would need a little more attention in the lobby to enhance the warmth and atmosphere inside, as this chain highlights, which for me is synonymous with luxury, so to speak!
Very good location and parking at a reasonable price for 24 hours!

Good Marriott

We stayed here in April 2026.
It is a good Marriott located near the embassy area, about 30 minutes walk from the center.
We were welcomed as Platinum customers by Bonvoy and upgraded to a suite.

Addressed in a scandalous manner

I had booked an overnight stay through HotelSpecials in August. At HotelSpecials, a hack turned out to have stolen my data and I received a Whatsapp message from a shady organization on behalf of the hotel reception that I had to confirm my reservation. I wanted to inform the hotel of this and therefore called the hotel where I chose a Dutch speaking person. Three times I got on the phone with an English-speaking person who claimed that the reception was unmanned, and that during office hours. When I said I was not happy with this I was spoken to in a scandalous way. I don't expect that from a hotel like this. On the hotel site there is also no possibility to file a complaint.
I have cancelled my reservation and am completely done with Marriott hotel Den Haag.

Disappointing.

I had reserved a De Luxe room with king size bed. There was no room available at check-in. This was before, too. Normally in other hotels you will already receive a room number.
Late in the evening we return we get a regular room with 2 twin beds. Further at breakfast the orange juice was on and no air conditioning in the room and breakfast room. I had, for the name, too high expectations.

grim for too many reasons to list

Drab, soulless and ‘cheap’ best describes this hotel.
A room where all the expensive went on the television and not the towels, toiletries and kettle.
Hangers so brittle that don’t hold clothes.
A hand held shower and miniature bath space designed for a 4 foot tall female, a toilet so squashed into a space that standing only is your option if you’re over 5 foot tall.
Grey curtains to make your work trip even less glamorous.
Breakfast, paper napkins, machine coffee and scrambles eggs so lumpy you can barely pick up and small portion,
