Lovely Sunday!

A lovely Sunday evening on the SS Rotterdam. Enjoyed a delicious meal at the Lido Grill, featuring excellent gravlax and sea bass. A good, spacious hotel room. Beautiful views!

A wonderful time onboard the Rotterdam

I worked on the Rotterdam as shop manager 50 years ago. And wanted to celebrate my birthday with my family on the ship .
It was a wonderful experience to be back on board. Everyone was so friend and helpful and the cabins and restaurant staff were perfect . If you want to experience life as a passenger on board a luxury cruise line in the late 20th Century then stay on the Rotterdam . We had super and informative conversations with the brilliant volunteers on the tour .
Even if you just come for the tour and drink I highly recommend a visit to the SS Rotterdam - David and family , London

Celebrating our wedding anniversary, we had a wonderful experience. We were warmly welcomed, the staff were very attentive, and the place was cozy. I highly recommend this experience to everyone – 10 out of 10! ✅️

Great to experience the SS Rotterdam again, staffing issues and general complacency.
I think the hotel as that what it is is living on its uniqueness. Somewhere else in Rotterdam next month.

Lovely night out in Rotterdam

Great location, A huge thank you to the incredibly energetic volunteers, such as Cock, who welcomes you as if you were the Queen herself. Then there’s the volunteer – whose name has slipped my mind – who told us about the girls’ dance evenings where, as a member of staff, he was asked to dance (he was working in the engine room at the time and was 17). The bar is lovely with friendly people; the welcome and everything else combined mean we’ll be back very soon.
