Our recommendation
Very nice vacation – we felt completely comfortable.
We were very satisfied with our stay at MarinaPark Bad Nederrijn and spent a really nice time there.
The accommodations are modern, cozy, and very well equipped. We had air conditioning, a complete fitted kitchen, and nice furniture – actually everything you need for a relaxing vacation. We also found the parking spaces right at the accommodation to be particularly practical.
We liked the entire complex very much. You get onto the grounds through the barrier with a chip card, and everything is handled easily at the reception. The staff was very friendly and helpful everywhere. There is also a vending machine for important daily necessities right at the entrance. We were positively surprised by the really fair prices – in some cases hardly more expensive than in normal shops in the area.
We can also absolutely recommend the restaurant in the park. The location of the park is a big plus anyway: From practically every accommodation, it is only a few steps to the water. Anyone who wants accommodation right on the water with a corresponding view should, however, book it specifically.
There is also plenty on offer for activities. You can rent stand-up paddle boards, as well as bicycles, e-bikes, and the really fun "choppers," with which you can wonderfully explore the surroundings. There are also plenty of shopping opportunities in the immediate vicinity.
We really liked the region itself. Lots of nature, water, and fruit growing everywhere, especially pears and cherries. We were also lucky with the weather and were able to really enjoy the area.
The facility is also very nice for families and dog owners. There is a large playground and a dog beach. We also quickly developed a nice connection with our neighbors. The children were able to play with each other, and the dogs also got to know each other and played together. This created a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.
All in all, it was a really beautiful experience for us: great location, beautiful view, very good amenities, friendly staff, and many possibilities right on site. We felt very comfortable and would definitely recommend MarinaPark Bad Nederrijn and would come back ourselves.

Disappointing stay – beautiful location, unfortunately major flaws
The first impression of Marina Park was actually really nice at first. We had booked a house right on the water for a week, with direct access for swimming – actually perfect conditions for a relaxing vacation.
Unfortunately, this positive impression was gone very quickly.
Cleanliness:
Unfortunately, the house looked as if it had not been thoroughly cleaned for a very long time. It was dusty everywhere, dead flies were stuck to the window, and there were several bloodstains on the walls from swatted flies and mosquitoes. It seems that the cleaning was not done very thoroughly either. Curtains, chairs, and other objects that were on the floor were apparently not pushed aside. As soon as you moved something, crumbs and dirt appeared.
The beds were made, but there were some small hairs in them. Luckily, we had brought our own bed linens just in case.
The kitchen did not make a particularly clean impression either. The microwave-oven combination could definitely have been cleaned more thoroughly. Furthermore, baking sheets were not available at all. Luckily, we had an air fryer with us. In general, we felt the need to rinse all kitchen utensils again before using them.
A small welcome package with toilet paper and a few small items was also promised – this was not there when we arrived.
Surroundings and dogs:
For us as dog owners, the situation was particularly disappointing. In our opinion, the so-called fenced-in dog area hardly deserves that name. It is only fenced off towards the parking area, but not towards the street or the dike. At the same time, you are actually not supposed to walk your dogs within the park. Unfortunately, we did not find a really nice walking path in the immediate vicinity either.
Beach:
As long as the weather was good, we therefore spent almost the entire time outside and used the area directly in front of our house. However, the area designated as the resort's beach on the map at the reception was quite disappointing: dirty, including discarded deposit bottles lying around, and also contaminated with blue-green algae.
Conclusion:
The location right on the water is really beautiful, and in good weather, you can certainly enjoy your time outside. For us, however, the negative points outweighed the positives after one week. Especially the lack of cleanliness and the disappointing situation for dog owners ensured that we unfortunately would not book the Marina Park again.
For the price, we would have expected significantly more cleanliness and maintenance.

We had a great time at MarinaParken Bad Nederrijn. The location is beautiful and quiet, and the surroundings are very nice. Everything was neat and well cared for. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again. Highly recommended!

Totally satisfied
Nothing to complain about, my friends and I were satisfied and will go there again. Very nice atmosphere, people, and the workers were also very helpful.
